When I brought him here, he wasn't super excited, it didn't have a set up like B & N. Then he found out he could get several 'like new' books here, at super affordable prices, or buy 1 book at Barnes and Noble for the same amount. He now appreciates the value of buying slightly used vs new books and that his book money goes much farther.

Lots of options to choose from in the store, as well as some music albums and goodies. We stopped in the Starbucks cafe inside to grab a drink. They don't take the Starbucks gift cards here so it's cash or credit only, figured I'd ask though. I grabbed a chai with almond milk, tasted like more milk than my actual tea tho so wasn't too impressed. **UPDATE: I decided to come back in and try this cafe again, all for that $5 book with a drink purchase. It's called "pumpkin spice and everything nice" by Katie Cicatelli-Kuc. It looks like a cute fall read and to keep in the spirit I grabbed one of the fall drinks a pumpkin chai with almond milk and the pumpkin cold foam on top (btw it's dairy). This time my drink actually tasted like tea and not straight milk like last time. Maybe it was an off morning the time before. Barista's are always friendly and helpful, service is great and drinks come out fast.

When my daughter, grandson and I first walked in we were approached by an older Asian woman and I asked her if they buy books. She could barely speak any English except to say "Ask my daughter", who I assume is the owner. So, they except donations, no trade-in value or anything. That's fine, I just thanked her and proceeded to check out their inventory, which I really was not impressed with the book selections--they had a lot of miscellaneous stuff for sale also, that might appeal to some. The thing that bothered me though is that this Asian lady followed us around the store and kept asking me if I wanted to buy a book. Right up to the point when we walked out the door. The one thing that makes me leave a shop quicker than anything is a pushy salesperson! Also, I'm not racest-my grandson is half Chinese! Anyway, I just got bad vibes, and I probably won't be back.
