Let me just start by saying that Denise is simply amazing!…read more I came to the root and the branch because I had low energy, felt tired all the time, and I had recently lost the taste (or rather had a constant metallic taste in my mouth). Because my regular MD wanted to send me to a bunch of different specialists to find out what this was, I decided to take the more holistic route. And I am glad I did. First, Denise is very thorough in her intake. She really took the time to ask questions, and look at every detail of my health. After her detective work done, she explained what was going on with my body from an eastern medicine perspective. It made complete sense to me. Acupuncture, along with nutrition changes and herbs worked - my sense of taste is back! Being at the Root and the Branch is always a relaxing experience, and you are treating as a whole, which care and compassion. Denise is always positive, encouraging and such a positive spirit - we all need a Denise in our life :) She is a very gifted holistic practitioner. Thank you!

I have successfully used Accupuncture in the past for sciatic pain so thought let me try this wonderful practice again. I was paired with Dr. Mary - who I just love. I am happy to report that after 4 sessions, I have more mobility and less pain in my shoulder and arm. I am pain free for several days and don't need to rely on NSAIDs. I am in a 12 weeks program - and am using this to heal several areas that need this treatment. If you are on the fence, don't be, accupuncture and this team (and facility) are just incredible.

Now I finally feel like there's a light at the end of the tunnel and I don't have to be stuck like this forever. I thought I'd tried everything in the book: every massage modality, supplements, strength training, PT, dozens of specialists and integrative medicine docs, acupuncture...etc. When a friend recommended myofascial massage, I rolled my eyes at first because I didn't believe it'd be any different. But I was so desperate for any bit of relief that I finally booked an appointment. I walked out of my first appointment with Kate with no to low neck pain. It was promising, but I was cautious. Throughout that week, I found that my pain levels stayed consistently low, whereas with other treatments and therapies, I would've been back in a full-blown flare-up by the end of the day or the next day at best. I hit 4-5 days before the tension, pain, and headaches returned -- a new record! Even though flare-ups still take weeks to correct, the trend is that overall pain is going down. It's given me hope that the rest of my body can get out of pain too. Kate is very experienced and understands how interconnected everything in your body is; she's been able to identify locked-up areas without my having to explicitly ask about it. Seeing Kate has been life changing and myofascial massage has been an effective addition to my existing pain management program (PT, acupuncture, CBT). The only downside is that Kate's availability is so limited and slots go so quickly, which makes it difficult to get consistent care. Highly recommend this practitioner!

I've been seeing her on and off for over year, and have always had amazing results from her visits, but last week was a true testament to the healing powers she has. I woke up on a Friday with a debilitating muscle spasm. I couldn't move my upper body or even breathe without intense pain. To make matters worse, I had a half ironman on Sunday that I had been training for for weeks. Oh boy, the race gods were not on my side! Enter Edith. She was so accommodating and was able to get me in as an emergency that day. Not only that, but she patiently worked with me for several hours making sure I was feeling better by the end of my visit. By race day, I was ready to go. I know she saved my race and my back and I cannot thank her enough. I highly recommend Dr. Edith. She is a true healer!

I generally don't write reviews here, but I have been so impressed with Traci's professionalism,…read moregrace, and kindness, and the effectiveness of her treatment, that I just had to say something. So why am I not surprised by the unanimity I find among these other reviews? If you are considering acupuncture or zone therapy as a modality to address your needs, or even if you are just in search of healing, somehow, some way, you should make an appointment with Traci and you'll find the answer to that question. Please read what John S. has to say for a catalog of specifics, but what I'll add is that Traci is laser-focused on treating the whole person. That may sound like a contradiction, but Traci consistently goes beyond dealing with specific, narrow conditions (I came to her with post-chemo neuropathy in my hands and feet which we have effectively erased) and insures that every aspect of your health moves in the direction of well-being. I have never felt as healthy, overall, as I do now after seeing Traci for the last seven months. Beyond her treatment and therapy, my experience has been that all the things you read here about Traci being calm, caring, empathetic and uplifting are absolutely true, and have compounded the value of my experience. Finally, I can't resist saying that her location (in the way-cool Mechanics' Institute) is an island of calm . . . a place you feel healing begin just being there. Thank you, Traci!
