Tiger Tails had been my dog's primary vet for at least 4 years. I brought my dog to Tiger Tails…read moreafter an emergency hospital visit the night before due to vomiting and fever. The emergency hospital had given him a fever-reducing shot that was supposed to last 24 hours. When we arrived at Tiger Tails first thing the next morning, we clearly told the staff and doctor about this and that it had only been 12 hours since it was given. The doctor took his temperature, did a quick checkup, and said he was fine -- then sent us home. We had pleaded that it was strange he wasn't eating or drinking and he was vomiting with hints of blood, but she kept insisting that he may have just ate something bad or just elder dog symptoms. Just 13 hours later, my dog passed away. I trusted Tiger Tails to take our concerns seriously and to monitor him properly after everything he had been through, but I feel that they dismissed his condition too easily. I am heartbroken and will never forget how this was handled. Please be cautious and make sure your pet gets the thorough care they deserve.

Very early on she started developing a cough and then wheezing, and then runny nose and I was so concerned I couldn't wait two more days for my already scheduled vet apt with another place. I called Tiger tails as soon as they opened this morning and I spoke with Jordan, and she was so unbelievably kind and helpful. She worked her butt off to get us in as early as possible, and even called me back twice to offer two earlier times, which we took. As soon as we got there we were greeted with super friendly staff. They led us to our excluded room (because of the cough) and every single vet tech and vet that came in was amazing. They were so gentle and loving to my baby, and explained everything they were doing. She did a thorough examination, asked questions, and determined it was kennel cough and sent me off with two different meds. I am a pretty anxious person when it comes to illnesses, especially since this is my first dog I personally own, but they were so welcoming and understanding, putting me at ease. I am SO glad I ended up going here, and will be going back for all her future shots/check ups. Thank you to the entire staff that helped me and my baby today!!

Dropped off my baby for a simple haircut @11am, they did ask me how i wanted the haircut and i…read moreexplained she needed to be completely shaved off, she's super hairy. A LITTLE Pom Pom on the tail and very low on the legs. Well, if you look at the pictures, she didn't even get touched on the legs nor the head. Although i said leave a little, they didn't even touch those areas. I signed off a pre-estimate for $112 then they called my mom to say she needed this & she needed that bc they couldn't do the cut. Ok cool, didn't even mention how much, whatever. Then i pick her up AT 5PM, somehow they needed 6 HOURS to take care of a tiny cat, I've never in her 2yrs getting haircuts have to put her to sleep. Now my baby is wobbly around for the next 12hrs with a FUCKED UP haircut for $289, idc about spending on my baby but WTF, this was INSANE. On top of that, NO BATH. She came out as dirty and hairy and she went in. I'm extremely frustrated & disappointed. Very lovely staff but the prices are unfair.

I cannot put into words the horror I went through after trusting BluePearl with my dog, Misty. She…read morehad ear hematoma surgery and not long after, she suffered a seizure. She collapsed on the hardwood floor, thrashing and snapping her head from side to side for what felt like an eternity -- nearly 5 minutes. I have never in my life seen Misty like this. She looked like she couldn't even breathe on her own. I truly thought I was about to watch my dog die right in front of me. What makes this even worse is that I was never warned this could happen. The staff rushed her discharge, handed her back to me without any real education or concern, and sent us home as if nothing serious could occur. There was no sympathy, no urgency, no sense of responsibility for my dog's safety. Misty weighs 52 pounds -- in the middle of this seizure I could barely even lift her. I had to drag her limp, thrashing body just to get her onto her bed so she would stop slamming her head on the hardwood floor. No owner should ever have to go through that alone. I even have video proof of this nightmare that I will attach with my review. As her owner, what was I supposed to do in that moment? I trusted these people to keep her safe, to care for her, and instead I was left completely unprepared and traumatized. The lack of compassion and communication at this hospital is inexcusable. I will never bring Misty back here again. Pet owners deserve a hospital that takes the time to properly monitor, educate, and support us through situations like this -- not one that treats our beloved pets like just another number.

The receptionist was super friendly and I cannot say enough about the tech staff and Dr. Harwell. She spent a lot of time with us, answering lots of questions, and you could tell she really cares about the animals in her charge. I wish she practiced as a general veterinarian as I would sign up first thing. We had almost no wait and were in and out in an acceptable amount of time.

The employee I worked with convinced me to take one of the dogs that honestly wasn't my first choice, but has turned out to be absolutely amazing. Her behavior changed almost instantly when she was out of that shelter. I am fostering at the moment and I was told if there any veterinary issues to come to the shelter, Vet! or any VCA location because they have a partnership with them. So first of all, I really appreciate all the staff and veterinarians that care for these dogs and cats. They are so friendly here and they did amazing work. The first time I took her was for allergies and the pill they gave her worked wonders. The second time, I had to take her for an ear infection and again, whatever they use worked so quickly and she's so much better. I really appreciate all the efforts and the relationship that they have with the shelter. I am one of the biggest dog lovers and I'm so thankful for them And all that they do. Please support them because they really do make a difference for so many dogs and cats. Thank you, VCI!

I have been going to this vet for years, and after this experience, I am beyond disappointed and…read morehonestly furious with the level of negligence and lack of care shown toward an extremely sick rescue dog. I recently rescued a severely malnourished dog and brought her in immediately because I knew something was seriously wrong. I specifically mentioned that she had pus coming out of her vagina, which is a massive red flag for a potentially life-threatening infection. The vet barely spent five minutes in the room, seemed completely disinterested, and never even bothered to properly examine her. He casually listed multiple health concerns, told me she "wasn't in pain" and was just "uncomfortable," then walked out without answering questions or discussing the urgency of her condition. What he failed to explain was that this dog likely had pyometra, a deadly uterine infection that can become fatal within hours if untreated. Instead of treating this like the emergency it clearly was, they charged me around $150 for vaccines and a fecal test while completely overlooking the fact that this dog needed immediate lifesaving intervention. Today, this dog is actively fighting for her life in emergency surgery because another veterinarian recognized how critical her condition actually was. The emergency team was shocked by how severe her condition had become, and even the rescue involved is deeply concerned about the credibility and negligence shown by this clinic. I understand not everyone has unlimited funds, but that does not excuse dismissing an animal in obvious distress or minimizing a life-threatening condition. Telling me this dog was "fine" and "not in pain" when she was septic and dying is unacceptable. The vet assistants and front desk staff were kind and helpful, and they are the only reason this review is not even harsher. But as for the veterinarian involved, I have completely lost trust in this clinic. If you truly care about your pets, I strongly encourage you to seek care elsewhere.
