Thank Heavens for this store! I've only recently moved to the Lafayette/Louisville area and hadn't…read morenoticed Independently Yours although I had been driving by this corner frequently until the shelter-at-home time began. Because of the pandemic, a major need for face masks surfaced. There haven't been enough of the n-95 masks for everyone, not even enough for the medical professionals and other front-line workers. Then people started sewing the cloth masks. I still personally couldn't find any available, but had a small supply of disposable masks my Doctor's office had given me in late February. But those are one-use masks and although I was only emerging from my home when absolutely necessary, they were running out. i heard about this store via a Louisville-oriented Facebook group I'm in. Someone was saying they had some cloth masks. So I went to that corner and drove among the businesses in the shopping area until i found this place. It's 2 doors to the left of the Nature Lab. indeed they have medical supplies of all varieties, and had a good selection of cloth masks in several sizes and colors. The white ones are $8 and the colored ones are $10. The people who work at the store and very knowledgable and helpful. They're out of hand sanitizer like everyone else but they are trying to get a shipment, by the way. I am happy to have one cloth face mask to wear and another to wear while washing it. I got a few for my daughter as well. As an older person, I was happy to see various items for people dealing with limited mobility and pain. The store is full of those types of items. They also have a large supply of compression socks.

This place needs a lot of improvement. First off, it is in no way ADA compliant which is a big…read moreissue for a medical supply store. There are no handicap spots to park in and the door is not automatic. They really need to hire more employees because both times I went in, I waited around for 5-10 minutes before someone acknowledged me and helped me. One employee was more concerned about helping the people calling on the phone than actually helping the customers standing in the store. When I picked up the equipment that I rented, the gentleman who helped me was very kind and made sure it was adjusted to my height. He even loaded it into my car for me. When I dropped it back off however, the woman who helped me took the equipment out of my trunk without even closing my trunk and left me standing outside on my crutches informing me I had to go back inside to sign off on the return. Again, an issue considering I was on crutches and they do not have automatic doors. The only reason I returned the equipment early is because I found a better scooter for free to complete my two months of non weight bearing. The equipment they provided was heavy and the breaks didn't work. It was a struggle to fold up and load into the car whenever I took it anywhere. The seat was stained and cracked. I would never recommend this place to anyone and I definitely won't be a repeat customer. The only positive I can say is that the store is clean and the staff is friendly once they decide to actually help you.

We…read morealso called ahead to ensure they were LGBT friendly, as we are aware there are plenty of individuals in marriage-related industries that like to throw their intolerance around. To our absolute delight, not only are the Schlener brothers welcoming and non-discriminatory, they were perhaps the easiest commission I have ever made for any item, and that's saying something! The Schlener brothers were very friendly and welcoming, and easy to talk to despite how intimidating it can be to be surrounded by such fine jewelry (and worry about salespeople more interest in upselling than good customer service). After reviewing some designs online, we went in with a rather vague idea for a set of matched wedding rings. We knew we wanted a chevron, wanted to keep the price reasonable, and wanted to do a combination of white and rose gold. We were able to create a custom design in less than an hour, review a digital mock up, then a 3D printed cast. I believe our rings were ready within 4-5 weeks, from start to end, and they came out BEAUTIFULLY. I cannot stop telling my wife how perfect they are, and how much I love them (luckily she feels the same haha). We are huge fans and recommend Schlener Jewelry as strongly as we possibly can.
