Also had an air of confidence about him. He quickly surveyed the job site and proceeded to set up. The island arrived just as he was finishing up and he and the bbq team proceeded to rig the island. I recently hired Julian Tree Care for a fairly large tree-trimming job in our steeply sloped yard…read more We have several large, mature trees and a lot of thick vegetation, all of which had been overdue for attention. I spoke with a few different contractors and received three quotes. Two were in a similar range, including Julian's; the third was much more expensive. I chose Julian because the business seemed well managed, and the results did not disappoint. Noe was the person I worked with. He was on time, easy to communicate with, and prompt in replying. He was knowledgeable about his work and quickly identified what needed to be done in each area of the yard as we walked around my yards. On the day of the job, eight crew members arrived right on time: four climbers and four ground crew members. While a few did not speak much English, others did, so communication was never a problem. They worked hard for about eight hours and completed the job by the end of the day. Noe stopped by shortly after noon to make sure the work was meeting my expectations. When I mentioned a few additional items I wanted addressed - such as clearing more of the brush in the backyard - he quickly spoke with the crew and had them taken care of. The entire team was easy to communicate with and clearly knew what they were doing. For example, one of the trees had branches hanging over the power line leading into my house. They trimmed it just enough to clear the line and leave a beautiful canopy without overdoing it. I was impressed. They also did a thorough cleanup afterward. I did two jobs this year with Mike Hamilton of Arbor Pro. The first was the trimming of my large…read moreValley Oak approximately 80 feet tall. This tree shades my back yard by it leans toward my house. It needs to be trimmed on the outermost branches to reduce torque on the tree. This requires a "scissor lift,"rather than climbing the tree, to reach the ends of the limbs. Mike did this once again and expertly removed the outermost small branches. Removing 6 to 8 thousand pounds without damaging the structural branches. The looks great and is ready for wind to blow through without stressing the limbs. The second job was the removal of three 120' tall redwoods. These stunning trees are too close to my house ( less than 20') and are lifting concrete slabs in the driveway. Two of the three are double tops meaning the last 20to 30 feet is weak due to the crotch. The potential for large section falling from height is considerable. This happened on a previous redwood destroying a fence but fortunately missing a home. Mike expertly and safely removed all three of these magnificent trees without incident and ground out the stumps. He removed them in large sections for use in saw mills. So the redwood boards produced can be useful to others. I greatly respect Mike's skill in managing his team and using his equipment, especially his crane skills in the process.

Our crews were standing around with equipment staged for an hour before they called us back. Kurt told us to call someone else dispite the two emails, text messages and numerous phone calls to Harrison prior to the day. They use an answering service that is very difficult to work with. They don't respond to calls, text or emails. I would not recommend them. Very poor customer service, very poor organization and extremely poor scheduling. These are your guys if you want to loose money, waste labor hours and look like a clown is front of your client.
