I was getting a bit nervous because the time window was closing for my baby to move. I began seeing Dr. Stacey around 35 or 36 weeks pregnant when something like 95% of babies have gotten into head-down position (and 1-3% of those stay breech). So it was a great relief to be seen right away and I was impressed with the holistic level of concern and assessment using the latest technology. Dr. Stacey explained everything and on my second appointment was able to show me a visual of my spine and sacrum and talk through problem spots. We also began adjusting to make optimal space for baby, including massaging round ligaments. After just 5 adjustments our footling breech baby flipped at 37 weeks! Sweet relief! It's wonderful that this office offers walk-in appointments when you have an issue. Actually, I didn't exactly walk in: SPD pain (thanks pregnancy hormones!) caused me to limp into the office, but after a simple adjustment walk out normally--on more than one occasion. Truly amazing. Sara and Buffy at the front desk/on the phones couldn't be nicer and the waiting room always has water, tea, and fruit available, as well as a separate play space for children. Dr. Stacey has a warm manner and is great with my 4yo as well. I couldn't be happier to have found her and am excited about the work we've done to prepare for delivery.

While I likely pulled something while lifting at the gym, it was really the accumulation of a number of things, over years, that were working against me. Dr. Lou took the time to explain what was likely going on, shared educational videos, and we discussed a treatment plan. He encouraged me to email or text him with questions/updates/concerns, and each time I reached out, he took the time to send a thoughtful reply. It took a couple of months of weekly appointments, taking a break from playing, doing the prescribed exercises, and honestly, a positive attitude (which came and went at times), but I am finally out gigging again, and without pain! During our last visit, I brought my guitar and we went over my form. He suggested some very minor adjustments to my posture that could help me avoid future injuries. Priceless. If you are having pain, would like to get better, and even learn how to avoid future injuries, go see Dr. Lou. Especially if you are a musician: Don't let pain get in the way of the music, go see Dr. Lou so you can continue doing what you love!

I have been to other chiropractors, but something about the combination of Dr. Hayes's "magic adjustment table" and the Graston technique, which uses metal tools to get deep into your muscles, to relieve the pain from muscle knots in my shoulders has been the pain relief I've been looking for. He treats the whole patient, making you calm with chit chat while you wait. He does a heat and stim. Treatment to complete the appointment, which always leaves me feeling relaxed and calm. The waiting room has a massage chair, which allows you to maximize your wait time. I have referred all my broken friends to him to repair and everyone that has entered his office has come back with a positive report. Perhaps that should have been a warning…read more Any other practitioners I've tried have at least a month lead time to get in for a new patient evaluation. I have hypermobility issues and my body slips out easily. Until recently I had a wonderful gentle chiropractor who never used any force, so I know it is not necessary at all. I am, and always have been, leery of having my neck snapped. I mentioned this to the receptionist up front. She said he would work with me. I stressed to him I will not have my neck snapped. Despite this, he had his hands ready to do something to my neck. I said no snapping. He said he'd use force for a small child. I still said no. He also was very certain he could fix all my problems using his techniques and seemed very fixated on this issue. If it happens, fine but I was there to be adjusted. I went back after a couple of weeks to be adjusted again. Again, I stressed I will not have my neck cracked. Again, he seemed so confident he can fix everything he's so good at it. Laying on my back, he was stretching my neck a bit and then BOOM without warning he yanked it. It wasn't a twist so maybe splitting hairs he didn't consider it snapping. It was a forceful adjustment and he did not ask if I would be okay with it first. I said nothing, trying to tell myself it would be ok. As the evening progressed, I became more upset realizing how he completely violated my trust and came past my clear no. He also charges close to double what a couple of the others I've seen in recent time have charged, and I know is way more than my Medicare coverage will allow (I'd have to submit it myself). Having tried several new practitioners since my last regular DC closed her practice, it's a lot ($87 for one visit). After my first visit I got several texts and emails asking for a review, to the point I sent a STOP text to end it. I'm not reviewing something like this after one visit, and in my opinion a medical professional begging for reviews is very unprofessional. In short, he performed a physical action on my body that I had clearly told him NOT to do. There's a legal word for that. I just wanted an adjustment, but he seemed fixated on how he could fix everything - such as digestive issues - with his techniques. Coming past my strong no was extremely triggering to me and there is nothing I can do about it short of leave an honest review and file a complaint with the Chiropractic Board. I wish I'd thought to look at reviews here first. If he didn't feel he could help me without doing forceful cervical adjustments, he should have told me that UP FRONT, not gone ahead with it. After the first adjustments (no snapping at all) the zone spot on my head did, to my amazement, not feel tender anymore. However, at this point I'd never trust him to not try to sneak in what he wants to do if I don't stay on my guard every second. I'm not interested in doing that and I shouldn't have to. I SAID NO. NO MEANS NO. Not maybe, not if I don't take it that way. It MEANS DO NOT DO IT. He also seemed to like to put his hands on me while just talking to me before the first appointment, like hand on my thigh for no reason. Get a clue. You do not put your hands on a woman unless you're performing a medical examination, and this was not appreciated or necessary. If someone has trauma issues related to being touched, this would be very triggering. It just annoyed me because it was not what I consider professional and was completely unnecessary.

I was scared to leave a 1 star review for so long, but no longer. Stay away from this place at all costs. I have been to many chiropractors all over the country and this is by far the shadiest experience I've had. "Zone technique" is another way to indoctrinate people. There are plenty of other modalities, like ART (active release technique) that are far more effective AND respected. They would require you to spend more time with your clients.

I've been a patient of Dr. Greg Fox since 2003, and he's way more than a "back doctor." I send…read morepeople to him all the time. It's ridiculous how much good he's done for my health, my husband's, and at least a dozen of my friends and family. He's covered by your insurance (or will work with you if you're uninsured). He only schedules you for the appointments you need. My advice: go see him. I first came to see Greg after I was in a mild car accident and thought I should go see a chiropractor for the first time. My friend had recently found Greg and told me crazy stories of how he made her mom's neck longer, someone's eyes stop bugging out, and seeing before and after photos where patients looked like entirely different people. I thought I'd check it out. Sure enough, he found I had damage from whiplash that would've really messed me up down the road, and fixed it over a series of appointments. Years later, I have seen first-hand a whole bunch of similar seemingly crazy results. Greg is down-to-earth, not "woo-woo," but can seem like a bona fide miracle worker! Since Dr. Fox's the first and only chiropractor I've seen, I don't have much to compare him to. But for those I know who have, what makes him different is his applied kinesiology and muscle testing. I've come in thinking I have a weird feeling in my hip and Greg will deduce through the muscle testing process that I have a gall bladder, or some other organ, issue. He does some seemingly unrelated adjustments to my body, I leave with the prescription of eating two to three apples a day and then suddenly I'm fine. Dr. Fox has enabled my husband to get relief from crippling headaches and digestive issues. He's helped me through adrenal issues. Of course he's helped us with traditional spinal adjustment stuff too. Overall, Dr. Fox has helped us find a new way of eating and a generally more integrated way of life. Greg has become a friend. He genuinely cares about his patients' lives and well-being. His team has evolved over the years, and he's been willing to try out new things and see if they work. These days he has a couple assistants, a clinical coordinator, a nutritionist, a nurse and a part-time physical therapist who work in two offices. Why four, not five, stars? A couple reasons. 1) Sometimes it seems like there's the common "to a person with a hammer, everything's a nail" problem. Greg has a certain way of understanding the world and the body, based on so much experience. Sometimes that can close him off to other possibilities. (One friend of mine claims that Greg told her she had some type of an organ issue when she ended up having a broken bone. I don't know that's true, but an extreme example.) 2) There are persistent timing issues. Sometimes you have to wait a while to see Greg, because he can get caught up giving patients the time they need. If you're a working person, that can be a bummer. I now see Dr. Fox and Heritage Integrated Health regularly for "tune-ups" as part of maintaining good health. If you're in doubt, give it a try. It definitely won't hurt, and hey, it might change your life.
