I had an issue with the office manager at My Family Vision. She ordered the wrong glasses. When I…read morecalled, hoping to make things right, the receptionist said how well she knew her and that she would never do that. My reply was, "I am calling to tell you she did. " Her response was the same as the office manager's, and the optometrist said, "Well, we don't know you." I have been going there for 6 years and spent $700 on sunglasses and $400 on regular prescription glasses--several pairs of glasses when I was getting cataracts. When she finally saw the cataracts and sent me to Kearney for the procedure. I then bought another pair which did not work for long. Scar tissue had grown around the lens, again I went to Kearney so they could clean up my eyes. I then bought another pair post-procedure. I've been going there for 6 years and they don't know me? That is not true. And because they would not listen to my issues they dismissed me with the words, "we will send your file to a different doctor". Nebraska would be the last place I would think someone, especially a healthcare provider would treat me this way. I grew up in Los Angeles, then I lived in Georgia for 30 years. In all that time and places I have never been treated so rudely and uncaring. They would not even talk to me about it. Again, because they don't know me. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Bad customer service and so disrespectful. I did get mad because they kept throwing things back at me. I also told them how the office manager threw the boxes of Medicaid glasses on the floor and walked off. They acted like I was making the whole thing up. I can't wait to find a good doctor and staff that cares. I'm sure my attorney will love to hear this. They get one star because there are no negative stars.
