Went in for a tooth extraction and was treated like trash. The dentist was rude, mean and impatient. When asked what to charge she yelled $650.00 for one tooth then when i mentioned my insurance, she said we don't take medicaid. I work for a living. I am not on medicaid. This dentist thinks she is better than everyone else. So if you struggle with bad teeth and cant afford to go to the dentist. This is not where you want to go. I had my first dental hygiene visit to Bison Dental in December. I am a life long consumer of dental services (75 years so far) so I think I am a pretty good judge of who does good dental work and who doesn't. I was extremely pleased with the quality of the dental cleaning I received from Mary, dental hygienist. She was thorough, attentive to detail, unhurried (very important to me!) and provided me with her findings and interpretations of my dental health. The cleaning was a very reasonable $60. In addition, I was also favorably impressed by the dentist, Melanie Jones-Wier. Her oral exam was more thorough than what I have previously observed from other dentists and she communicated her findings well. The cost for the oral exam was a few dollars higher than what I have paid other dentists in the past but not markedly so. All things considered I do not hesitate to recommend Bison Dental. read more
