It's not actually fair to give a review that says "great" because it misses the mark. I've worked…read morewith Clint before and have been impressed each time. He does something I don't see anywhere, certainly not with a contractor: he owns the work. He follows up, he makes sure everything is in order, he even comes out to check on things multiple times through the process. This isn't typical service. This is what all other companies should be aspiring towards. He recognizes that, as a homeowner, the most valuable thing we own is our home and he wants us to be satisfied with the work. Believe me, I am. As if that's not enough, there's Clint's man on the ground: Robert. Here again, to say Robert does a good job is unfair - he's exceptional. Courteous, helpful, also willing to own the work, but the most importantly when dealing with contractors: he makes sure the job is done right. At one point, I asked if they were close to finishing. Robert pointed out that he'd finish if I wanted him to, but he'd rather do the job right. Considering how much work I was having done, I realized there was no better answer. In the end, the only thing that slowed them down was the weather. As a homeowner, it's not always easy to know if you're getting a quality company when you have to find someone online. Let me save you effort: you want Clint and Blue Apex. The only trepidation I have about posting this is that they get so many customers that when I need them next, they won't be able to fit me in. Thankfully, the entire exterior of my house has been improved by Clint and his team, so I think I have some time before I need them again. But I know who I'll call if the need arises.

He stopped by to see how things were going on the install day and his crew were respectful of our property. Would highly recommend them!! Thank you !! Dave and Vanessa Dutka

The entire crew was professional, punctual, and clearly took pride in their work. The finished product looks fantastic. Pricing was very fair, and any additions that came up during the job were handled honestly and without surprises. That kind of transparency goes a long way. I'm a licensed contractor myself -- I just don't do exterior work -- so I know what quality craftsmanship looks like, and Castro Construction delivered. I'll be recommending them to anyone I know who's looking for larger jobs. Thanks again to the whole crew!

From day one, the crew showed up on time, was respectful of our home, and you could tell they genuinely care about doing things right. What really stood out to me was how upfront they were about pricing. When a couple of small things came up mid-project (as they always do with older homes), there were no surprise charges or awkward conversations -- just honest communication. That meant a lot to me. My husband actually has his contractor license, so he's pretty particular about this stuff, and even he was really pleased with the quality of the work. That says a lot! The deck especially looks amazing and we've already been out there enjoying it. We'd absolutely hire Castro Construction again and have already started telling friends and family. If you need exterior work done, don't hesitate -- these guys are the real deal.

They said they would be back to seal the driveway, at no cost, and the seal would smooth out the problem area. Well, the 16-month waiting period has come and gone and apparently so have they. They gave us a contract with no address, a non-working telephone number, and they do not respond to the customer comments section on their website.

When it came time to pay, it was cash only and he was very demanding, following me out of my car. Another was that they were to resurface and remove the old driveway. They did not, and argued that there's no reason to remove what was underneath. I lost a good 4" of the riser for the bottom step due to the buildup of asphalt. The owners also promised to redo the pavers and the Belgium blocks and they did not. The workers laid the few blocks in a different angle than the rest of the property. The pavers were left tossed at the base of a tree and the pattern is now incomplete. It looks like a jagged edge with about 12" of incomplete dirt sections. The workers also tossed unused gravel in the middle of my front lawn and let themselves into our garage. Weeds pushed their way through the new asphalt in less than 4 months. They glued some stones back in place but that has failed in less than 6 months also. I offered the workers water and a few snacks and they left the garbage in the grass.
