I have been working with Dr. Mandy with an injury I sustained during prep for a trail running race…read more She was incredibly thorough in her exam, asking me not only about my current injury/pain, but other aches and pains I have had over the years that could have been attributing as well. She was able to give me exercises and stretches for my pain (not generic ones you might get off a google search/AI/IG) as well as performing targeted cupping/massage to the areas that needed it. She worked with myself (& my stubbornness to keep running through the injury), and has been the best resource/provider for the injury. Now I am back to running without pain, & excited to ramp up my training (under her discretion). Can't recommend Dr. Mandy enough!!

Mandy Wainfan at Performance Place completely changed the course of my recovery. If you're dealing…read morewith nerve pain, stop guessing and go here. I first discovered Performance Place through their free resources on YouTube, which were fantastic and gave me the confidence to reach out for help with my nerve issues. I initially thought I had a cubital tunnel problem, but Mandy quickly and accurately diagnosed me with cervical radiculopathy (C5-C7) and a flexion-intolerant neck. That diagnosis was critical, it showed me how important it is to be seen by a professional who can provide an accurate medical diagnosis and care plan, rather than wasting time with the wrong self-diagnosis and exercises. We went through a series of customized exercises that evolved session by session based on how I was feeling. Mandy created videos for me to reference at home, kept detailed notes on my progress, and adjusted the plan accordingly. Her attention to detail was exceptional. She also laid out exactly how long it would take to see improvement, and was spot on. A few of the key exercises (chin tucks, shoulder raises, and the backwards 'underhand dart-throwing' ulnar nerve glide) consistently improved and alleviated my symptoms and gave me tools to manage flare-ups independently. I worked with Mandy both in person and remotely, and both formats were equally effective. She was flexible, accessible, and always available to answer questions by email. I felt fully supported and cared for from start to finish. Performance Place not only helped me make lasting progress but also gave me the knowledge to understand why the program worked. Their approach is accurate, thoughtful, and empowering. I'd recommend them to anyone dealing with nerve-related pain or chronic issues.

Because I was in so much pain, Dr. Gillis had me come in that day after the office closed so we could have plenty of time for a full consultation, do x rays, etc. That was the first time I have ever felt listened to and cared for by a healthcare professional like that. Based on her treatment plan, I was able to get my jaw pain under control and now I look forward to the adjustments for how good it makes the rest of my body feel as a result!
