You basically can't contact them unless they contact you first. Even then, they will claim that they will call you first then not contact you. Find someone else. I have held off on publicly posting about Alsana Birmingham out of respect for the humans who are trying to get help there. Humans who I love very much and am honored to have as part of my support network. AND I can not morally or ethically be silent any more. This facility is horrible for so many reasons. I have personal experience and I am learning more from others. They claim that they treat trauma and eating disorders and that is NOT the case at all. Most of the therapists there are newly licensed and are not properly trauma trained (unless giving you a bag of ice counts). They gaslight and brainwash to make you belive that you are the problem (a huge no in the actual world of the profession) and that they truly care. My own experience was traumatic and my outpatient team was horrified and no longer refer there. If you need a compassionate trauma trained staff that also works with eating disorders look elsewhere. Even when I filed a formal grievance with corporate they minimized and invalidated my entire experience. True professionals are responsible for not only their intentions but their impact as well. They take no accountability, just want money and to save face of a crashing and burning program. They are actively harming people due to their incompetence and that is completely unacceptable. Alsana Birmingham, you need to do better and be better. Treating people is an honor and a privilege. I suggest refreshing yourselves on the ethical codes you supposedly learned in school and committed to uphold.

I felt safe confiding in Jasmine about some everyday struggles I wasn't expecting to connect with her or go as deep into myself like I did. Sometimes I felt myself talking to her like she was one of my best friends lol. We laughed and we cried together. She dug deep into emotions and the art of just allowing yourself to feel. we have done several Angel session's together and I was able to speak and hear what my Angels had I say.
