They refused to turn on the AC during my 84 year old mother's transportation during 100 degree heat; what should have only been a 50 min ride also took them 2.5 hours! I don't know how this company is even in business! They have transported my mom twice and both times was Terrible! They don't even deserve a star! The dispatch is rude! They have people working there that don't want to work. They were complaining and calling dispatch if they could transport a disabled person! They didn't want to transport her! The driver was a girl and she said she couldn't lift! I know this is a job requirement so she was just being lazy! Her partner was clueless and didn't want to help with carrying my mom and I clearly offered help. My mom is 140 lbs. I worked 6 years on an ambulance. I am know first hand how a "gurney van transport" and an ambulance company operates! I am very well aware they are not emts. I asked to talk to the manager and they said they couldn't disclose her name or number. I gave her my name and number to the dispatch girl and she never called! This place needs to be shut down! The gurney van was falling apart and dirty! Their gurneys have no brakes!! Totally unsafe! I can't believe Kaiser is contracted with this dump of a business! read more

I don't know if I'll need the services of a company like Life Fleet. But if I do, I'll be sure to hire your competition. Why? On Sept. 17, shortly before 6:30 p.m., my wife and I were returning home from a trip to Target and Sam's Club. We were heading north on Sycamore Canyon Boulevard just before Lochmoor Drive when a big rig merged into our (left) lane to avoid a broken-down 18 wheeler. My wife, who was driving, had to brake abruptly to avoid being sideswiped by the big rig. The Life Fleet Van 127 (CA Handicap License Plate 213RY) behind us blares its horn for several seconds. What were we supposed to do? Get run off the road by a truck three times our size? We pull up to where the 60/215 on- and off-ramps merge with Sycamore Canyon -- we're in the left lane, the Life Fleet van in the right. The Life Fleet van driver, a young woman, proceeds to mouth off at us with her window rolled up. She then drives aggressively and makes a right onto Fair Isle Drive to get on the 215. It's disturbing to think a company in your line of work employs such rude, aggressive drivers. Do better. read more

On January 13,2024, in Riverside CA, the driver of Life Fleet van 121 hit my vehicle and kept on driving. I had to follow them until they pulled over for a stop at a convenience store. (They were on their way to pick up a patient at a local hospital.) The driver was unaware she had hit my car. I showed her, the driver, where the van had hit my car. I asked for proof of insurance to give to my insurance company. Their proof of insurance they had in the van had expired in March of 2022. The driver called their office manager. The office manager promised to get the insurance info to me the next day. They didn't and have not provided PROOF OF BEING INSURED. They lied to me about providing the proof of insurance to me. It has been two weeks and Life Fleet has refused to provide proof of insurance to me and my insurance company. read more

I have not used their transport service, but i experienced some road rage from one of their drivers, in Van #124. I did call to complain as driver seemed very aggressive. She kept trying to box me in a lane and not allow me to merge out, i slowed down to allow them to pass and they only matched my speed to not let me merge either in front or behind their van. At one point the driver tried to run me out of my lane and into the freeway divider. When i did manage to pass the vehicle the driver got right behind me and turned the high beams on, they tailgated me for several mile down the 15 with high beams on. For a company trusted with a patients life this is very unprofessional and dangerous. The driver had no regard for the safety of her patient, and other drivers on the road. Purposely trying to blind someone operating a vehicle and oncoming traffic is very irresponsible and should send red flags up to the employer. The dispatcher i spoke to was very professional and apologized on behalf of the driver. I hope the driver is dealt with, as i am very concerned, the driver could very well kill someone or be responsible for a terrible accident as a result of her behavior while operating a medical transport vehicle. I keep going over it in my head to see if did anything on my part to aggravate the driver. All i did was turn on my merging lights and they decided to box me in. Since when did merging lights become a " do what you can to stop the merge" signal. Oh and she did have a patient with her during this ordeal, the dispatcher said is was "unacceptable behavior, specially while transporting a patient". read more

On 05/04/2023 sometime between 2:03-2:08pm, approximately, vehicle 130 ran a red light making a left turn from Industrial Blvd. on to Bear Valley Rd. in Victorville CA, cutting across three lanes of traffic heading eastbound on Bear Valley Rd. and causing a pickup truck in the far right lane to have to slam on their brakes. thought you should know. If I ever have a choice regarding Lifefleet, I'll choose something else thanks to your driver. read more

I called Life Fleet as my Mom needed transportation home from the Hospital. She has very limited mobility. I was first impressed with the reasonable price and then came the excellent service! Chris and Skyler went up and beyond to make sure my Mom was placed in her bed comfortably. They both were very attentive, professional and experienced. On July 16, 2019, it was over 100 degrees and my 91yr old mother was transported by a life-fleet driver, ginger, who is a supv. She came early 30 min for a 1pm transport. At 1pm the van was extremely hot, the air condition was off, her driver's window down. A 10 min transport from home to Kaiser caused my mom to hyperventilate, raising her blood pressure, dehydrated and shaking upon our arrival. Her dr took one look at my moms condition and immediately called 911. Mom was transported by 911 to the nextdoor Emergency. Her blood pressure was so high couldv caused a stroke. I would not recommend this company. I filed a complaint with Kaiser who contracts with Life Fleet. But got the run around with Life Fleet, itself, when tried to address this issue with the owner, Ben. I was given a non-working contact number twice. Life fleet was very unprofessional. Used Life Fleet for my own gurney transport for the first time, and NEVER will again. They were unprofessional, rude and inexperienced. Employees nearly dropped my gurney while loading me into van. Once there, I realized side rails were never raised. The ride was extremely bumpy, and painful. On top of everything else, they forgot to come back to take me home! Use Helping Hands instead! Very very rude unprofessional supervisor. He yelled at me with insulting tone just because I had a question on the bill that made him very upset and so disrespectful. How can he treat a regular paying customer with roughness! I was shock the way he handled a simple question from a regular customer He should be trained what customer service is. Most of the drivers are professional and attentive. Need to work harder on communication from Medical Center to patient and back up. Overall the transportation vehicles are newer and appears to be kept up. I have been having a problem with one of the drivers from Life Fleet in Riverside his name is Adam she drives crazy Anderson's to music very loud very unprofessional and just laughs he was driving about 60 miles per hour in the rain very dangerous I asked friend never to pick me up so what happens they sent him out to me like if I was going to get in the car with him yeah right I refuse that right somebody from Life Fleet then calls my insurance company my insurance company called me and told me they cannot control who picks me up or who doesn't pick me up I then went ahead and I said that I had called and spoke with John and explain to him that I don't like to hear rap music with a bunch of profanity with the N word this the end word that kill them kill that bang bang Shoot Em Up type of music I don't like that especially as soon as I get out of dialysis I have put on YouTube my experience where I videotape the driver going very fast in the rain listening to music loud so John got upset and what's he do decides to call me at 6 at night time and tell me that we talked about this last week why did he send the same driver to pick me up there are other drivers at the company that are very nice they drive very slow but their so-called manager Adam I hope he gets into a car accident since he likes to drive like a stuntman life Fleet medical Riverside read more

My grandmother was very ill and had fallen and sustained injuries to her hip and was taken to Kaiser. Our nurse and case manager called Life fleet and I spoke to Jon and he was very accommodating and kind. He arranged a gurney pick up for my grandmother from the hospital to home. The drivers that arrived for my grandmother were also very kind, I also took notice of their professionalism and manners as they transferred her from the bed onto the gurney. They were so very careful and considerate of my grandmothers hip injuries, I'm sure she appreciated it just as much as I did. All while they worked they maintained an uplifting attitude and made my grandmother laugh, and I thought that was something she needed that evening. I followed them as they drove her home and they drove very smoothly for my grandmother as she was nervous about bumps and such, the drivers did their very best to keep her comfortable, it was only a ten minute drive but still, they were amazing. When we got home they continued to impress my grandmother as they again transferred her from the gurney to her bed, doing so very carefully. They politely asked if there was anything else she needed before they left and then they said their goodbyes. I highly recommend this company for any transportation needs, they're amazing! read more

Life Fleet was amazing to my 80 year old mother who couldn't afford transportation so they billed me when they usually don't bill, it was a big help for my mother and i who are both on a limited income. The staff was very professional, and the General Manager Jon Jones, Owners Ben and Mitch set me up on a great pricing plan, god bless them. This company does not care about the patients or their employees. They send these young untrained kids to pick up gurney patients. The kids don't know how to transfer properly nor do they have the strength. And they don't want to hear your complaints cuz they don't care. WORST OVERALL SERVICE OF MY LIFE!!!! I was referred to Life Fleet through Kaiser, and can honestly say that I'm so far beyond disappointed and shocked on how my family and myself were treated. Mostly by the office Staff. Upon arrival of my husbands discharge, the drivers just stood in the hallway beside the room door, didn't bother asking the nurses or myself if we were ready. After waiting close to 20 minutes, I approached them and asked if we could go. Overall this company hasn't the slightest clue about customer service. No greeting, no introduction, no communication whatsoever. My driver was speeding, wouldn't slow down during turns, and unnecessary loud inappropriate music playing. THE WORST and SAD part about my encounter, I blame the supervisor. I'm so far beyond confused on how and why the supervisor John has his position or even employed. I refuse to believe that HR is completely oblivious to his actions. This company is a disgrace and the Better Business Bureau should be contacted IMMEDIATELY.
