Like many modern day brides--I opted for websites like Style Me Pretty and Green Wedding Shoes for inspiration. I am not a bride that commands an ultra formal wedding. I wanted something whimsical, romantic, and fun--and i wanted vendors who's work reflected that. As I scoured the sites, certainly, there were tons of amazing photographers. And while I liked many and bookmarked many--my search came to a stop when I came across Brandon's work. His work is absolutely beautiful. Brandon doesn't just have a big fancy camera. His pictures have heart. He captures everyone in their every bit of happiness. Truly, every time I look at his photos--i am overwhelmed with emotion. Brandon was one of the first people I booked--and by far the best decision I made. He's not cheap--but he's worth every penny. He is extremely professional, courteous, responsive and warm. Our wedding day would not have been the dream it was if it were not for Brandon and Kristin (second shooter). I can go on and on--but really, his pictures speak for themselves.

That's how confident I am in his talent and eye. But this review is for his day-of work. From the moment he arrived, it was clear we were working with a true creative genius~ The way Alex worked the room was remarkable. He captured every interaction between my fiancé and I and our guests so naturally and intentionally. He always had his equipment with him, yet somehow managed to be everywhere without ever being in the way. He knew exactly how to position himself for success so that no meaningful moment was ever missed. Guests were complimenting us all days after the event as they ALL noticed how effortlessly Alex moved through the event. We also felt so incredibly comfortable around Alex the entire night. On a day where there's already so much happening, having someone who brings calm, confidence, and reassurance is priceless. He is the idea of what any bride/groom/client want in a photographer. Someone who works confidently, blends in seamlessly, makes you feel at ease, and who you know with absolute certainty will never miss a great shot. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our engagement party, and would recommend Alex without question. Thank you so much Alex for all that you do, and all that you are~

This review is long over due, I mean, really, really over due…read more Brandon Wong Photography is, without a doubt, the best wedding photography team in Southern California. Both Brandon and Katrina have so much talent. I first met Brandon and Katrina back in 2009, in the middle of planning our February 2010 wedding. And from the get go, I loved their enthusiasm. After reviewing their portfolio, I was taken back with how much emotion could be depicted in a photograph, I knew immediately that Brandon and Katrina were our photographers. Working with them for our engagement shoot was so much fun and we knew that the wedding day was going to be great. Here are a few important factors when working with Brandon and Katrina. - Extremely professional - Creative and artistic - Composition is beautiful and flawless - They listen - totally important - They are stealth, you hardly see them but the shot is incredible - Completely worth it for incredible memories I look forward to the day that we get to work with them again on another occasion.

They have an eye for creative shots that capture and document the perfect moments you would never want to forget. I just got married in May of this past year (2011) and I had my engagement shots as well as wedding day photography with them. For my engagement shots, they were willing to hike an hour to a woodsey spot because we really wanted a outdoor shoot. Seriously, not all photographers are willing to do that! The results were phenomenal and they were such good sports even though it ended up raining on us while we hiked back. Our wedding shots were even more amazing and truly captured the emotions of the day. We'll treasure the memories captured forever! Brandon and Katrina are the perfect duo and they definitely compliment each other as photographers. I would HIGHLY recommend them to any bride who wants gorgeous wedding photos and a peace of mind--someone they can trust and feel 100% comfortable around! I also admire how they constantly strive to improve themselves as photographers. I know Brandon recently came back from a intense photography workshop in India with a famous photographer (sorry I don't know the name!) and Katrina is going abroad soon too I believe. Anyway, seriously, I cannot recommend these two to you enough! Just meet up with them and you'll see what I mean :)

I saw Khoa was located in SoCal, but I was located in NorCal. I emailed him inquiring about his accessibility to the DLR (we are huge fans). He responded quickly and scheduled a video consultation. Meeting Khoa in person for the first time on the day of my engagement shoot was absolutely perfect. My then fiancé and I basically spent the entire time riding rides, eating, laughing, and having a good time. We felt so comfortable around Khoa and I couldn't believe how well we all got along. I hired Khoa this year to do my "minimony" aka small wedding ceremony photos. I remember as I sat in the chair for my hair & makeup, he brought us all some food in case we were hungry. Super thoughtful and sweet. We did encounter a few hiccups in the engagement & minimony shoots, but they shouldn't be a focal point of this review because Khoa DELIVERED. He created beautiful memories with amazing quality. We even ordered a 40" x 60" HD sublimation print of one of his shots and hung it up in our living room. It is absolutely breathtaking. Art.
