My husband and I love this office! I have been coming to chriopractic care since i was 16 and many of them felt like a 'drive thru' for adjustments. This place is different! They do an eval before they work on you and help show you the issues with your spine and how that can be effecting other areas of your life (digestion, fertility, weight loss, etc). For my husband and I they were spot on! We invested in the correction package - my husband doesn't get headaches anymore and i am having better digestion and less hip pain. But you HAVE to do the home care if you want to see significant improvement! We also decided to invest in Dr Andersons Discover Wellness weight loss program. A friend invited me to join her at this chiropractor's 'Dinner w/Dr. Anderson'. at the Rouxpor in Sugar Land. My warning bells were humming at the observation of how much he overbooked the party room and how he talked to his staff. He reminded me of the husband in the movie,Sleeping with the Enemy due to how he ordered them around two to three times saying," Close those doors and don't let anyone else in!" However, his sales pitch was running a home run with me as my back has been my nemesis. During the course of the evening, I repeatedly told my friends that I didn't care for his staff and it appears that he hires low paying unprofessional staff. One older blonde headed woman was sort of rude. She got into a verbal debate with my friend by telling him to get out of the buffet line and wait to be called, even though her male coworker had just instructed our table to get in line. Again, I muffled my warning bells. Well, I raced to my $30 appointment 3 days later after a 12 hour first day of school. Upon entering, my vibe sensed that it was a patient mill because they mandated they have a copy of my health insurance card even though my $30 was paid on the night of the dinner and they seemed very rush oriented. They swore they would not bill my insurance, but would find out my benefits if I decided to become a patient. Hmmmm...Nonetheless, curiosity kept me begging for more.Surprisingly, he did agree to let me take a picture of what he professed to be my spine with a lot of 'subluxation' in red . There's so much more to this experience , but this"Chiropractor' really does remind me of the husband in ,Sleeping With the Enemy as I previously mentioned. I went to Dr. Anderson with the goal of relieving severe back pain. Unfortunately, Dr. Anderson's goals didn't quite coincide with mine. The initial appointment costs $125 up front, no insurance allowed. The first thing you're greeted with is a loud infomercial in the lobby from the founders of the Maximized Living franchise hawking how people didn't need their CPAP machines or diabetes drugs anymore. It seemed to belittle traditional medicine. That should have been my first clue that this would not go well, but I was in pain and desperate for relief. After filling out the paperwork, I was handed a pamphlet and told that I was required to read it before seeing the doctor. It covered the 5 components of "Maximized Living." Essentially, it told me that they wanted to also sell me a weight loss and nutrition program. Again, that voice inside my head told me this place is full of crap, but I really wanted an adjustment. Next, I got a very scripted tour from the receptionist. They make a big deal about being recognized by Christian groups (you'll also hear contemporary Christian music in the background, although that's drowned out by the infomercial on a loop for the most part). The receptionist will leave you with the words "If he decides to take you on as a client, I'm sure that he'll be able to help you." Huh? You're not encouraged to ask questions; they don't seem to want to get off of their script. The doctor comes in next and he begins a prepared speech about how they're different from other chiropractors. Other chiropractors just want to treat injuries, he wants to give you total wellness. I tried to ask questions and discuss my condition and health history, but Dr. Anderson did not seem to be very interested in talking about that. He dismissed the doctors whom I have seen in the past (and hold in very high esteem) and went back into the sales pitch. You next get a nerve scan done by him running a device along your back hooked to a laptop. Then you're off to X-rays. For most patients, that's where the first appointment ends. You next go to a group orientation, where they pitch all of their services, and then you meet one on one to review your x-rays and discuss your treatment plan and how to finance it. My group orientation was scheduled for the next evening. However, since I was in severe pain and couldn't stand up straight, I was offered an adjustment as long as I waited about 25 minutes. This gave me an opportunity to see what life would be like in this office if I came back. (Remember, most people are out $125 without getting a single adjustment!) I didn't like what I saw. If you've been to a chiropractor before, you're used to seeing other patients doing a variety of exercises and treatments that are customized to their condition. Everyone is doing something a little different. Not at Dr. Anderson's office. It's an assembly line, with everyone basically doing the same exercises before their adjustment. I tried to relay some of my concerns to the office manager when I paid on the way out and got some very slick, scripted answers on how this is a family office, how they treated children, how Christian they were, and then tried to guilt trip me because I had been referred by a friend. That little voice in the back of my head said run. Well, my back won't let me run yet, but I won't ever set foot in there again. The whole experience with all the speeches, high pressure, and the infomercial on loop made it a really weird experience for me. read more

We had a great experience with Dr. Anderson. The staff was very professional and seemed to really care about us. I had been seeing another chiropractor for a long time, but I was still having a lot of problems with my neck. My neck is now doing great and to actually see the real changes on my x-rays was impressive. I also brought my son who at the time had been getting severe ear infections and rounds of antibiotics every few weeks to the point where our pediatrician told us that we would have to put tubes in both ears. After just 4-5 weeks the ear infections went away and have never returned since. We are very grateful to have found a clinic like this! I found the team's focus on health and disease prevention in line with my values and appreciated their wealth of information. I have been a patient of Dr. Anderson's now for the past three years. It took me a while to actually schedule an appointment because I didn't want to drive to Missouri City. However, I had been to several chiropractors in the past with no relief. I suffered from migraine headaches which kept me on pain meds and needing to constantly sleep. I finally made my appointment and found out the root of my problems. My neck was curved backwards and my hip was out of alignment. My nerve scan was mostly purple and red which was not good. I had nerve damage. The thing that set Dr. Anderson apart was the fact that he asked me what I wanted to be able to do rather than limit me to what I shouldn't do. No doctor had ever asked me that. I was blown away with that and the fact that he doesn't adjust you without X-rays & each time I went in he'd ask about me and the family. We ended up getting my 10 & 12 year old checked and found out my 10 year old had scoliosis. We had known about the 12 year olds scoliosis but not the younger ones. We signed them up for treatment & within 3 months the 10 year olds scoliosis was completely gone. We recently took X-rays and my 13 year old also does not have it any longer. I have to say that I don't have migraines anymore, my neck is curving back to the right way, I no longer have allergy issues. My daughters also suffered with severe allergies during the fall and they have not been sick for over two years and no longer have to take all the meds for it as well. I have loved the place and staff so much so that I joined the mission to spread the importance of getting your nerve system checked and your families as well and to share my testimony. It works if you do all your suppose to do. I have read reviews and understand that everyone's entitled to their own opinion but this is the only Corrective Chiropractor I've met that corrected my issues & got to the root of my issues. Dr Anderson is the most amazing and generous doctor I know. Yes, there are warm up exercises which Maximized living came up with that help warm up your spine and help you relax. Yes we do three exercises two of which everyone does the same and one that is either moving to the right or to the left or both ways. They help you not limit you. Avoid this place! I wish I had read the reviews on yelp before getting trap in their pressure selling tactics. I regret signing up with Dr. Anderson. I paid $38 for initial consolation which included x-rays which I thought was a great deal. When I walked in the girl was nice but I felt like my gut was telling me to run away but I didn't. I stayed because I had back pain and I just wanted to get better. I went back and got my x-ray results which he said my neck lost 90% of its curvature and my lower back had scoliosis. That was shocking because I had never heard of scoliosis. Anyway he then goes off to tell me he didn't feel comfortable treating me all because my (partner) wasn't there. I'm a single mother the time he saw me was when my son's baby dad was with us walking in a city festival. He based his treatment plan or lack of because of another person not myself. He verbally said "I don't feel comfortable treating you because you will not have a support system at home" they he goes off to talk statistics 99% of people like myself will fail in the treatment plan etc. He hands me the price of my treatment plant (insurance didn't cover) Total price $2,905 which I thought was not expensive since that would avoid surgery and it seemed to be a natural treatment plan. I've attached a picture of the actual cost of each thing. I walked to the front desked he followed me and was behind me "organizing pills and books" and I just felt pressured to signing right there because I wasn't allowed to go home and think about what a huge mistake this was. I'm sad to say I felt prey into their pressure and signed up. I went maybe four times and I felt like I was in a cattle ranch following other people and it just seemed like a money pit. Dr. Anderson didn't care about my health I was just another patient and move on to the next. After four visits I finally decided I couldn't do it anymore. I just didn't feel comfortable in that establishment. I felt they only wanted my money and I was right. I cancel my service and ended paying $955 for 5 visit. I told Dr. Anderson how I felt and he still made me feel like it was my fault. That's just abuse. Yes you are losing my business but take it like a professional accept that you were wrong and apologize. He did none of that. They even charged me for the home care kit which is a bunch of plastic tubes and rope maybe worth $40 total but they charged me $230. To break it down if you don't have insurance its going to end up costing $200 each visit. I say save your money. Don't waste it on this money pit. read more

I found them because of a FB AD and I'm so glad. I had been telling all my conventional medical doctors I've had increasingly bad pain in my joints but especially my lower back. They just prescribed pain/anti inflammatory pills but I knew there was a cause, this wasn't normal. I asked if they could have xrays done on me and they said I needed to take the meds they gave me first to see if "I felt better". I was so done with the whole medical field so I scheduled an appt here not knowing anything except they had a $27 dollar special for a full consultation. They took xrays of me right away & showed them to me immediately. Turns out I have several congenital defects and am missing 2 bones in my lower vertebrae!! In 37 years of going to conventional doctors they had never realized this & if they did no one ever told me! After 1 adjustment I felt a DRAMATIC improvement. The doctors & staff are absolutely amazing. I bought a 30 visit plan and after 5 visits I'm still seeing improvement & the quality of service & customer service is excellent. They explain everything to you and are super passionate about empowering you to be educated on your own health & body. They have free Saturday classes for the public on health & wellness topics. I love their philosophy of going to the root of your issues instead of treating & managing symptoms. They enlightened me on how essential spinal cord health is to EVERY part of your body since it houses the entire nervous system & if there's an issue that causes the spinal cord any pinching then the part of the body that has nerves connected to that part of the spinal cord will have issues. Do Not Go To This Chiropracter! The Dr. Anderson is more concerned with his 2 hr orientation than his patients.. I met Dr. Anderson at a festival where he had a booth set up. I paid the $25 for the special which included x-rays and exam. My first visit was pretty nice. I could tell that the office was promoting a whole body wellness aproach to health. So I meet with doctor who seemed to be rushed. He gives me a nerve test and x-rays and tells me to schedule another appointment for the next day. Again, I felt like he was in a rush and I got a weird vibe from him. He told me that he wanted to treat me right away and I should really make my appointement for the next day. Later that day the good doctor calls me back with my x-ray results and the results are not good. He tells me he wants me to come back in for an additonal X-ray before he can recommend treatment. Again, I got a weird vibe. Like just tell me already what the treatment is. Second appointment I get an adjustment and do some excercises and another x-ray. So, i try to get more information on my x-ray and treatment and he tells me he will explain all that at my next appointment,. So, now I have to make another appointment to discuss treatment and cost and see my x-rays.. The receptionist tells me that the next appointment would be in a group setting and take about 2 hrs! I tell the doctor that I can't come in for a two hour orientation about his office. I just want to discuss my x-rays and treatment. He told me that I HAD TO DO THE ORIENTATION!!! I spent 5 mins arguing with Dr. Anderson about this point. Basically, you HAVe to go to the orientation to see your x-rays! Needless to say I did not and will not go back to Dr. Anderson..
