The previous posters are right on with their review of this company! I've had to deal with them, (for my boss) since 2006. They are rude, unprofessional and don't give a rats ass if your oxygen machine is not working. If you have someone that needs oxygen 24/7, this is NOT the company for you! I second what Benjamin D. wrote! My family has been dealing with Life Care Solutions for months... They repeatedly called and demanded that we pay them $500.00, even though our insurance covered the machine. They claim that we visited their office over three times (after we switched insurances) in order to collect (extort) money from our insurance company Even though our previous insurance company paid them A LOT of money, they're still demanding money from us. We NEVER visited their office on the days they claimed, and they've never been able to show us one document with a signature of our visit. They've tried to charge our old insurance thousands of dollars for services we NEVER received. They've even sent us notices of sending us to collection! I don't know about the entire company, but I have nothing good to say about this office. They're committing fraud by claiming we visited months after we had already switched insurances, and are charging our OLD insurance company. If that's not FRAUD, I don't know what is. I'm assuming that the trick is to sell the machine to your insurance, and once you switch or your insurance is canceled, the sold machine then is claimed to have been a rental, which they then try to sell to you for $500.00. Don't be fooled by them! They're a bunch of extortionists. Avoid, avoid, avoid. And good luck calling them... They will blow up your phone, and leave messages, but they'll never answer their phones. This place is a dis-service. They never anwser the phone. When you get a real person it's the front desk clerk who doesn't know sh*t, that will try to keep you from making an appointment. I'm paying you for the medical service. They can't or won't provide the service or the products you need even with the doctors script. What a joke. I'm so thankful for Life Care. My grandma was sent home from the hospital late Fri night, unable to walk, unable to use a walker, and w/o a wheelchair. Life Care delivered a wheel chair to our house. Two days later, when grandma went to another house, that chair was too wide. At 11PM, they opened their shop for us to pick up a more narrow chair. In the decade of working in sales and customer service I have never dealt with this level of incompetence. After three weeks of unreturned phone calls and inquiries as to the status of my CPAP order I was told that a copy of my medical insurance's approval was required to complete the order. I called my insurance company, after several days of being told that they were merely awaiting a response from them, and was told that they had no such record of any requests. I asked for them to email me a copy of the document which I then forwarded on to Life Care Solutions. That afternoon I was called to schedule a 45 minute appointment with a respiratory therapist for a week and a half after that day. This meant that even though my insurance had approved the CPAP machine I would be picking up the machine almost two full weeks after my coverage through the job I was leaving had lapsed. They told me it would be completely covered. Since the CPAP machine is a rented piece of equipment (which is different from what is noted on the invoice I received when I picked it up during the 15 minute (not 45 as I'm sure my insurance was billed) appointment) I'm now being told that I owe them over $500.00. The amount wouldn't be as expensive had they processed the paperwork on time, but I am so completely fed up with receiving letters and phone calls in the middle of the work day that I told them to come pick up the machine. I would rather deal with my sleep apnea and the exhaustion than put up with such frustrating incompetence. I highly advise anyone considering this company to avoid it. read more

I have had to make 22 phone calls in regards to obtaining a CPAP Machine through their Victorville CA office. Each and EVERY single call I have made (mind you not ONE return call has ever been made from them) has left me so frustrated with the way I have been treated. Every single person I have dealt with has been unbelievably rude, condescending and mean. My insurance company initially denied by CPAP machine, but then I won the appeal and have an authorization for the equipment. That is not good enough for them, they want so many other documents that my doctors office is beyond upset. They know we cant go anywhere for supplies, so they have you over a barrel and know that. Therefore, they feel that they can treat the patients like crap! I am disgusted and have filed a complaint against this company with my insurance company, however, again, because there is no other provider in the area, nothing will be done, and these incompetent jerks will continue to be in operation. read more

Life care solutions has the worse customer service ever. People here don't care about customers or their needs. Always have some excuse about delivery times or can't get a hold of a delivery person. Someone needs to open up a business like this to compete with them, hire better customer service and then sorry to say all the rude people would be out of a job. Be sure to take down the names of any representatives that you talk to on the phone for the after hours service, Nursecomm. To be fair, the after hours service has over 200 clients (this I found out after talking to the supervisor) but I did have a snarky exchange with one representative. Let me be clear, these people are not hired directly by Life Care Solutions. And, on the other hand, there were two other representatives who were a dream to talk to. The Driver who left our oxygen at 11:30 p.m. was awesome. He was professional and efficient and showed us how to use the oxygen machine. He'd driven all the way from Banning and Calimesa to San Bernardino and back to Riverside for us in 60 min since we were a bit panicked that my grandma was going into the red line on the oxygen gauge. This was our first experience with Life Care Solutions. They came through in the end. I'll be sure to update this review since we'll be using for my grandmother's healthcare needs. read more

Refered by medical group, not given a choice. Technican slow and unsure about what to do. I told them to bill all payments to my credit card. Every month I get a bill and call, they always say they will fix the problem. They did not do anything for three months, $63. Now turned over to a collection agency and posted on my credit history as a bad debt. I did not get a loan because of this and will file a lawsuit now. read more

Terrible company! St Josephs hospital in Burbank arranged for Life Care Solutions to deliver a monitor to us before our son could be discharged from the hospital. There were multiple missteps. Essentially, the ineptitude of this company kept us in the hospital for an extra day. Even when they were finally on their way to deliver it, the driver was running super late and didn't bother to call to tell us. This company cost us a TON of time and hassle. This company refuses to provide customers with itemized statements, beware of what you are charged. I have had so many incorrect charges it boggles the mind. This company is unethical, unresponsive and doesn't possess the licenses reqired to distribute some types of equipment. read more

I had a meeting with a member of the staff this afternoon to pick up a new CPAP machine as my current one has nearly 15,000 hours. The doctor told them to set my machine on 13 which they did. The doctor said 13 because that is what me current machine is set for. When she hooked up the new machine it was blowing too hard which I told the lady. Her reply was that the doctor would have to make the change. When I got home and hooked up the new machine, I noticed that the tubing on the new machine had a smaller diameter than the one I was currently using. This would make the air flow harder than it should be. When I called and asked for the lady that helped me, she was busy and would call me back in 30 to 35 minutes. I then asked to speak to a technician and was told that none was available. It is now 3:20 PM and I have a flight at 8:00 AM in the morning and wanted to take my new machine with me. It looks like I will not be using my CPAP machine for a few weeks while I am gone. Got a call back from the young lady at Life Care and she said that the manufacturer of the machine said that the size of the tube did not effect the flow presure at the end of the head gear. I find that hard to belive and I was told to contact the manufacturer. read more

They have repeatedly had the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Do not leave a message - they will never return a call. This is with the answering service or the message machine during the business hours. I was told they have extension -- that they don't know where they go. There is no common business courtesy. I got a CPAP through these people. The co-pay was over 100-200 dollars so they were to send me a bill for $12.00 each month. This became an annoyance so I paid off the whole thing. Ever since then I get bills every month for the co-pay. I called them and after a long, long wait, they said yes they knew my bill was paid and to ignore the monthly bills. So today I get a phone call telling me if I don't pay my bill they are turning me into a collection agency which would ruin my credit. I waited to talk to a human (it was a machine who told me all this) and after 20 minutes the phone went dead. So as I am writing this, I am on another long hold trying to get them to take me off the 'hasn't paid' list for the fourth time. I wish I had never got sent to this business. read more
