I know not every veteran feels the same way about the VA, but my experience here has been overwhelmingly positive. I was able to attend the domiciliary program and participate in other programs and groups that really helped me get back on my feet. They have a women's clinic, a wide range of primary care doctors, and many specialty and subspecialty clinics, including kidney dialysis, diabetes care, pain management, mental health, X-rays, and mammograms. The campus also includes a nursing home, barber shop, restaurant, snack bar, emergency room, bank, post office, pharmacy, and lab--just to name a few. There's honestly so much available that it's hard to list it all. This VA helped me with housing, supported me through my disability process, got my healthcare organized, and ultimately helped change my life around.
