Anyway, I was with a Moroccan and a German, so the languages were covered. I got a plate with grilled fish, squid, and shrimp, and it also came with fries, red cabbage, cole slaw, cucumber strips and tomatoes, and cous cous, along with a tomato sauce and a mayo sauce. So much food, I couldn't finish it. All the food was a bit bland, but I was glad to have the sauces. We also had Moroccan tea and I had it without sugar; I can understand why people usually dump a bunch of sugar into it because it's bitter. Tasty though and fresh! The portions here are huge, the bill came out to be around €50 for all three plates (my friend got what I got, and my other friend got a grilled shrimp plate).

The "Harira "was too liquid with spices Wich doesn't fit. The "zaalook" was missing tomato sauce and the garlic. It's better if they call it "friede Aubergine" instead. And the "Marrakech Tagine" that was even worst A Tagine doesn't suppose to have much liquide but this one was swimming inside it, Wich mean they cooked it in a normal pan and replaced in Tagine only to.be warm. I put 3 stars because my partner did like the falafel and the grilled chicken. But I just feel sorry for non Moroccan who will think the Moroccan food is really like this :(

(To get inside, by the way, use the door with the coatrack on it!) The service was quick and friendly, and the server quickly switched to English when I asked (quickly hitting the limits of my German). The food came out quickly and was a real feast. The hummus was perfectly creamy and smooth, the bread was soft and chewy, and the various salads and dips all complimented each other nicely. Great crispy falafel too! The only thing I didn't really like was the lentil salad--taste wise it was fine but I felt the lentils needed a little more cooking. However everything else was so good I definitely didn't leave hungry. After eyeing the cakes in the case for a while during my meal I asked for a recommendation, and settled on the hazelnut cake. It reminded me a bit of a tiramisu with the layers, but with a distinct hazelnut flavor and not too much sweetness. Perfect cap to a day of solo sightseeing.

They still served me with a smile and didn't make me feel like a jerk for being there late. Everyone working there was kind and efficient. The food was DELICIOUS. It was exactly what I wanted to eat. The drink was also so lovely and cleansing. I highly recommend this location.
