One of my favorite restaurants in Darmstadt! Pretty small and often packed, so definitely make a reservation. Extensive wine list and delicious food, my favorite is the octopus appetizer which can be made entree size. Parking is impossible, but it is worth it. Very highly recommended! read more

Our visit started off very pleasant. We started out with the appetizers, and complimented the waiter that we enjoyed them. Upon receiving our mains, we told the waiter that our brown pasta was way undercooked and another pasta was not very flavorful. Instead of the waiter accommodating and welcoming our comments, he broke into a tantrum and a fit about how we should not come back here if we don't like the food and that this is how they make the food and he will not change the way they cook for us. He started yelling about the truffles and that he is italian and knows how it should be. To be honest their home made spaghetti was closer to udon noodles, and their pesto sauce was not a pesto rather an infused oil. We paid our bill and left, and will surely never return there - not because of our bad experience with the food, but because of the very angry and aggressive attitude and energy. People can have bad cook days, but an aggressive attitude is not acceptable. read more

I've been here a couple of times now, and I have to say it's lovely. The food is freshly prepared, genuine Italian cuisine, and there's a fabulous wine list, something for everyone and every pocket. The service is friendly and competent. As ever, when someone brings me something I haven't ordered, that I don't have to pay for, it just makes me sooooo happy. The decor is modern, with clean lines and the only negative is the layout of the tables etc, which is a bit business-like. read more
