Worst service ever! The owner cheated my wife and kept $220 CAD…read more Last April she ordered a fascinator for an weeding. The owner, Elia, was really helpful and suggested several options. My wife gave an advance of $220 CAD with Elia's promise of getting back to her as soon as it was ready. After waiting for over two months and not hearing back from her, my wife went to the store to find out what was happening. Elia didn't even remember about the order and my wife had to show the receipt for her to accept that there was actually an order pending. Elia excused herself by saying that she had been really busy and asked my wife to return the following week. Today she went back to the store and found that Elia didn't have the fascinator ordered and offered to prepare something at that moment. My wife refused and asked for a full refund. Elia refused saying that she had spent too much time advising my wife on what to wear and that her time was too valuable. We are suing her to get our money back.

The sellers where limit obnoxious. You could hear them yapping how gorgeous the hats where looking on people. I understand you need to make a sell but, it was rebutting me. If you are willing to pay 70$ for a hat and get complimented like you are trying a wedding dress. That's your place.

They were able to stitch a hat band that was meant for a felt hat onto a straw hat...which might not sound like much, but try finding anyplace that will take the time and has the experience to do any repairs to hats. They were also very nice and even emailed me suggestions on good restaurants to try!

He ended up picking two great hats in black and the cool thing about lids is that it's always buy one get the second half off. I've never not had the deal unless it's some crazy cool new hat. They offer personalization at the cash as well, if you want to put a players number, your name or whatever you like. Now that my boyfriend discovered the store I know for a fact he will be a returning customer as footlocker is lacking in the hat department.

Nothing was too much trouble for them. They answered all my questions helpfully and in a very polite and friendly manner, so I could be sure I would receive well-fitting shirts. I was given a choice of international shipping rates and opted for the cheaper option which they warned me could take from four to six weeks to arrive. In fact, the goods were received in under two weeks all the way from Canada to Jersey, Channel Islands, even though I had opted for the cheaper, slower delivery. The goods were well-packed to protect them from damage in transit, and all arrived in perfect condition. The quality is excellent: better than I was expecting for the price paid. In particular, the shirts are of a good, thick and robust cloth but smooth and comfortable to wear. I certainly look forward to buying again from Modestone. Thank you, guys!

This was by far the worst shopping experience I have ever had. It just doesn't get worse. I bought…read moresome leggings, some tights and a top on sale. The owner of the store was my salesperson, and she forgot to give me 50% off a pair of the leggings (due to a few holes). I went back the next day and she said she would pay for the repair, but couldn't give me the 50%. I was a little irritated because it was her mistake to begin with but I let it go. Fast forward to bringing the leggings to a tailor and bringing in the tags, the leggings, the receipt and the bill from the tailor and the saleswoman (the manager of the store) says she didn't make the deal, and can't honour it. Keep in mind I have now paid full price for damaged goods and the price for the repair, so I am pretty pissed. I ask to speak to the owner but she isn't available. I speak to the other owner on the phone and he tells me he would never have made that agreement so can't honour it. I have to come back and discuss it with the owner who sold me the leggings in the first place. By this time, I have been arguing with this man on the phone for ten minutes and I am so frustrated I am in tears. He wouldn't budge. He said he was really sorry, but couldn't authorize the manager to reimburse me for the repair. I said if he WAS really sorry, he would reimburse me and give me the 50% off for my trouble. And he replied that he wasn't really sorry. I never went back to speak with the other owner because it was so horrible and upsetting an experience. The tights I bought, by the way, were one size fits all, but the lycra sucks so they get super baggy and are too long for even my 5'8 roommate to wear. The top I bought stained my armpits pink. All in all, if I could give this store a -5 stars I would.
