They had marvellous Faux Fur Shawls for a winter wedding. They had lots of colours (Grey, White and some others) and the price was just right. I purchased two for $67.21. The owners were very nice as well. Since I needed two shawls of the same colour, the owners let me purchase one of each colour that I was debating between. I then took them to the dress store to see which colour looked better with the dresses. They let me come back the next day to exchange the colour I didn't need for the other colour so I would have two of the same. The owners were so sweet and went above and beyond. I highly recommend this store. I also received tons of complements on the faux fur shawls. No one could believe that they were about $35.00 each. I highly recommend this store. After doing some online research, I knew he was the only option to get the job done. I dropped off my hat just as David was preparing for the Queen's Plate, so the process took longer than usual. However, David kept in touch with me, letting me know what stage he was at, when it would be completed, etc. The services to block and shape a hat aren't cheap, but it is a specialised art/skill. I am very happy with the results!

The trouble came on the day of the wedding when it literally fell apart the second it was pinned on by my MUA. First, one of the three silk roses fell off. We managed to pin it back together so I could wear it. Before the ceremony, the second rose fell off. Again, we cobbled it together to at least get through the ceremony. Considering how expensive it was and how delicately I treated it, I really can't figure out why it didn't stay together. When I sent David an email after the wedding to let him know what happened, he didn't even bother to respond. So yes. I got a gorgeous fascinator but he didn't stand behind his work or even try to offer any kind of explanation.

They specialize in all sorts of hats, fascinators, jewelry and beads. The prices are great and probably the best value you'll find in the city. The owner imports his products, and he often adjusts the designs to improve the quality and owns his moulds. However, shipping costs have increased so much that he has to increase the number of days he works. I was there for a fascinator, and there is a TON of variety at such a reasonable price, better than what you may find on Amazon. You can take out the clip and slip on a headband instead if you want. If you're looking for a hat, come here first! I'll probably come back here again if I'm in the look out for a beach hat. A few neighbouring shops have closed during the pandemic. The owner told me he has only one year left on the lease, depending on how sales go this year, he may also decide to leave the business. He does say it in a more positive tone mentioning how sometimes a change/adapting is needed. If you're in the market for some accessories for your event, vacation or even a hat, visit them. You might have to call or message first to let him know you're coming. The doors aren't always open to the public. The owner is super nice and approachable so don't be shy.

I didn't know what to look for in a cowgirl boots but the owner of the store was so helpful. The service was great and I enjoyed my shopping experience. I'm loving my boots!
