All of my items were in excellent condition and from well-known name brands. The manager told me they were declined because they had gone out of style. I find that difficult to believe, especially after looking around the store and seeing clothing that appeared to be older in style than the items I brought in. Based on what I observed, the explanation I was given did not seem consistent with the merchandise currently being sold. While that was disappointing, I understand that resale stores have their own buying criteria. The bigger issue was that when I got home, I realized my suede belt was missing. I called the store, and the employees said they would check thoroughly and speak with the manager, since she was the one who had gone through my items. One of the sales associates even asked the manager to call me, but she refused. When I eventually spoke with the manager, she denied ever seeing the belt with my jacket and skirt and simply said she was sorry, without offering any effort to investigate further or resolve the situation. I'm extremely disappointed--not only were none of my items accepted, but one of my belongings was lost, and the customer service afterward was very poor. Based on this experience, I won't be returning and cannot recommend this store.

I waited a good 5minutes before someone popped out of the curtains from the back. She gave me an annoyed look and asked how she could help me. I said I just wanted to look at dresses for my nieces prom. She reluctantly let me in but had to make sure to mention that she normally has times for mother of the bride and proms, and demanded I take my shoes off. I really don't know what the big deal is with shoes. I mean it's a dingy not vary clean store to begin with, if it had been raining or snowing outside I could understand taking off my shoes, but it was a nice day, my shoes weren't dirty. I was taken back and asked if there was a problem, again she glared at me with this annoyed look and she looked down at my shoes and said take your shoes off. At this point I said, no thanks...I'm going. On the phone, I was told to bring up to 15 items: "the best clothes you have for consignment." Now, I have some beautiful, expensive items that I'd worn just a few times before becoming seriously ill. I'd had 4 surgeries and many meds, which made me gain 2 sizes, and which I cannot seem to lose. So, I thought these clothes would be great for other women who are size 4 to 6 - designer pants, jackets, a dress and sweaters. When I arrived today, they barely said hello. Instead, two staff began pulling clothes out of the bag and talking about them without including me in the conversation. One walked off, and the other put some clothes aside, saying "we don't take office wear, and we don't take party clothes." (These pieces could variously be worn to a restaurant, a party, a corporate event, a premier, etc.) I pointed out that the pants she was actually holding were not office wear, but rather, with the detail down each side, were more for social outings. She said again that they don't take office or party wear. I suggested they tell people on the phone what they do accept, because I wasn't informed about what they don't look for. I said it would be better for people to know, and that I had other things I could have brought instead, if I'd known. She shrugged and said "Well, that's the way it is. Too bad." which I thought was incredibly impolite. If she'd said she was sorry, and that she wished I'd been informed on the phone, then all would have been fine with me. But she didn't, and so again I said I thought they needed to think about the fact that people need to have details of what kind of items they want. This woman shrugged again and smirked, and began stuffing all my things back in to my bag, saying "Just forget it, I'm not looking at anything." Now, I believe I had a right to suggest they let people know before they drag stuff all the way over there - I'd ironed everything and carefully folded it all, and this store wasted my time. They have no consideration for the people that bring things in. I will never go there again, but I feel I should warn folks about this place. They treat you like you're part of a conveyor belt, not like a fellow human being all all.
