Recently our family purchased over $5000 worth of furniture for my mothers house from Destination…read moreLeather & Patio, located in the Kerr and Speers plaza above the Roxbury. Briefly, here is what happened: - Furniture delivery date came and went with no call from Destination - Finally when we got them on the phone, they never called, they told us that they hadn't even started making it yet - When they finally delivered the furniture they wanted us take it into the house ourselves - They refused to unwrap or set up the furniture even though it was supposed to be included in the price - We unwrapped the furniture ourselves and they refused to take the big mess of wrappings with them - The furniture was delivered with the wrong parts - Our repeated phone calls to the owner went unreturned for many days - We finally got ahold of the owner who told us that having the wrong parts was 'no big deal','you don't need the legs' and finally that we should 'cut the legs to fit' on our brand new couch if we wanted legs. He then said he would call us right back and never did. - When we finally got him on the phone many days later, he never returned one of our calls, he raised his voice and told us again that it was 'no big deal' and to 'fix it yourself'. - Finally after some shouting he asked me if I 'was a tough guy', if I 'wanted to see how its done in the jungle' and 'come down here tough guy'. This is a disgrace of a business that should have no place in our community. Please tell your neighbours, friends and family to stay away from Destination Leather & Patio.
