The server kept insisting we order, that we where being rude by not ordering food. I apologized and said we were not hungry and that we would be happy to pay for the bread and olive oil. The manager was never called to our table and we were given the check after much argument from the server. It was the worst experience I have had in a restaurant while traveling abroad. The ferries and large boats go to Marina Piccola. Marina Grande is where we met our captain for our boat tour to the Amalfi Coast and where a lot of other groups were launching from. The marina itself was easier to get to that I thought. The decline was gentle on our knees. The incline, heading back to our Airbnb, is actually quite kinder than I thought while I was going down and it wasn't too hard for someone like me, who isn't fit at all, to make it. Add, being in the sun, on a boat all day and I'd say it was almost easy, so no worries if you have any. There are stunning views from this marina and quite a few restaurants and bars to hang out at. The best part for me was the metal dock that you can walk out onto and see Marina Piccola. You can also look down into the crystal clear water. Just lovely!

Seafood was so fresh and their wine list was ample. We ordered so many seafood dishes (squid, grilled cuttlefish, small shrimps, king pawns, grilled fish .etc.) and they were all so very delicious. Their tomatoes were also very sweet and tasty. We even tried their grilled steak but I guessed we should not order any meat in a seafood restaurant, the seafood was so delicious that we wanted to taste everything on the menu. The owner Antonio came out and greet us at the dinner table and he was so very kind to open a bottle of Barolo for us. It was an amazing evening. Reservation is a must if you preferred to sit on the terrace right by the beach.

We had dinner here one night in Sorrento and I felt compelled to write a review. This place came…read morerecommended from 2 sources and wow, what a huge disappointment! We got bad vibes the day before when we went to check it out...the Maitre'd/owner(?) completely ignored us as we stood waiting to talk to her about seeing a menu and making a reservation. Came back later and made reservations for the next night (with another guy) and as one other reviewer mentioned, there was ONE waiter for the entire place (w/helpers) but WTH?? Everything took forever...including the bill we wanted to pay and get out of there! We started with the assorted app selection and only 1 out of 3 of them was pretty good (almond tuna). I ordered the mixed grill fish and there was absolutely NO taste...had to add salt and lemon and still nothing. Was also served lukewarm. My daughter got the sea bass and it was pretty tasteless too. And the lemon slice she asked for never got delivered. It was almost like they were trying to ignore us. When the waiter FINALLY came to clear the table he could see I hardly ate anything (of a very pricey dish) and didn't ask or say anything. We had to get his attention and wave him down several times for the bill. Such an awful experience and so disappointing...especially after we had two amazing meals in Sorrento that week (highly recommend Delfino's and Donna Sofia). And this was the most expensive meal of the trip so far- which we just paid and left. Other restaurants may offer another meal or comp the meal but nothing was offered and we didn't ask. We just wanted to leave. We are huge foodies and are just so disappointed with our final meal in Sorrento. We'll definitely be warning our friends to stay clear of this place. Like another reviewer mentioned, there are SO many other restaurants here with great food and service...at a lower price! Don't waste your time here.
