I am a sucker for a regional grocery store or a specialty style grocery store. With that being said, I found out that Lidl ranks high on my list of stores to do my shopping at. The location is very neat and organized and clean. When you first walk in, you have the bakery. The bake goods are made each morning and once they sell out, that is it. I love their pastries that remind me of my trips to Europe and my German friend absolutely raves about their pretzels. The produce section always has fresh items and I have yet to see anything wilted or that has gone bad. Overall the prices of everything are very comparable to other grocery stores and in some cases cheaper. Make sure you do bring in your reusable bags though or you will have to carry your items out or get a 12 cent bag. (they do have others to choose from though too). read more

Love this small grocery store. I can always find unique items in it . The bakery is right at the front door and always smells wonderful. Their breads are different; they use other flours , not the regular types. They have a nice selection of herbal teas to choose from. Their prices are at times much better than ones at Harris Teeter. It is usually well stocked and the staff are friendly. It's my go to place when I don't want to venture into a larger store for just a few items. read more

Customer service has improved ,to some degree. "Going,going gone ." section is an area for bargain prices.

It takes a while to "learn the ropes" of how Lidl operates, which is unlike my other grocery stores. They have good prices, & a reward "system" for increasing amounts of purchases. They have merchandise, such as tools, also. One needs to bring bags, or empty one's cart directly into one's vehicle! I like their produce & products. They don't always have advertised items in stock, & no "rain checks". read more

Lidl has beckons my favorite grocery store other than Whole Foods. I now shop at those two stores primarily. I cannot believe how reasonable things are here and how great the quality is! read more

I love to grocery shop, I love to find deals, but now I just go to Lidl. This store really shows you how much other stores are ripping you off. This is my shopping list this week, grapes .75/lb, asparagus 1.39/lb, chicken wings or thighs .99/lb, 2 New York cheddar blocks for 2.00 and a six pack of IPA for 4.99. Other deals I found were Angus grass fed hamburger 2.85/lb, dozen XL eggs .50, loaf of bread .60, 8 oz bag of kettle chips .75...look for the 30% off stickers too. Those prices are better than the dollar store. If you are like me and do not carry a smart phone around, you can still create a Lidl account online, put in your land line or cell number in the form, and then just ask the cashier to let you type in your number on the keypad. This way you still get the rewards credited to your account. read more

This Lidl opened Dec 2019 and I finally went! And I'm so glad I did! They have a fresh bakery area, lots of produce and a huge cheese selection! I usually shop at Aldi and I really like the smaller grocery stores so I can get through the whole store faster but with everything I need! They had lots of different and unique products and sale items too! Great prices, clean store and the self checkout staff member helped me 3 times and was nice about it!! I'll be back! read more

I love this grocery store. From the fresh onsite bakery to the availability of grass fed organic beef, organic chicken and milk at great prices. My favorite is the bakery tho. Being used to it from Germany. It is a great. I love their German Sourdough and Farmers Bread as well as the Pretzels (it's just like being in Austria/Germany). There are also some German/Czech beers that are reasonably priced and very tasty. Organic Milk is a super steal. read more

Lidl is a great place to shop! Their prices are wonderful. They always have good sales. Location and parking are great. Their staff are friendly and their self checkout is awesome. I shop here weekly and couldn't say enough good things about it. I love that they have their name brand as well as a lot of other brands so I can pick and choose based on what I actually use. read more

This place is great for your necessities! The prices are super comparable to Aldi but it seems like they do have a little more of a variety in ethic foods. If you're very particular about name brands or specific items this place is not for you. This store not only has bakery and a great selection of fruit and alcohol (which is supppperrr affordable... 3 dollar wine bottles!) The store layout is super easy to navigate which makes it easy to go aisle by aisle. For even better deals they also have daily discounted things for all the products that are closer to expiration. I purchase a cart full of items only 95 dollars.. what I got at another name brand grocery stores would have been in the high 100s maybe even more. The only problem I has was the cashier was a little rude, and it being my first time there I was hoping for someone that would be a little more helpful in the cashing out process. All in all it was a great experience! Will be back! read more

This grocery store was great. I came here for vacation groceries and sunscreen originally. When I entered the store, the first thing I saw was their big display of any bread that you could ever want. Their produce was very fresh and they had a large selection of it too. I walked down the aisles with my cart and they had everything I'd have ever needed. They didn't have many people working there, but that was great. No one bothered me with anything such as asking if I had everything. When I was done shopping, I strolled to the checkout. Not every lane was open, but what can anyone expect. So I waited in line with only one person in front of me. After the person in front of me was done, the cashier greeted me and helped me with everything that I needed to know. It is comforting to know that at least there is one store that has it together after COVID. read more

The prices are average, some better than others but overall about the same as shopping at Walmart, Food Lion or Sams Club. When we checked out the cashier told me she needed to ring up the bags before we could use them. This is ridiculous since how do you even know how many its going to take for a cart of groceries. In addition she was rude. Before I could finish bagging, yes that's right bag your own, she wanted me to pay and start ringing the next customer. Not a pleasant experience. Very disappointed in the lack of social distancing at the check out line today during Covid -19! The associate did not even give me time to bag my groceries before checking out two other customers. We were forced to stand right next to each other while we sacked our own items. No other registers were open and we were not six feet apart. Unbelievable! read more

This place is so fun and fresh. Would definitely recommend instead of going to overly priced produce markers. They have a lot of interesting food options that taste great. Would highly recommend! Great food for great prices. read more
