Nice selection but far too messy of a store. The self checkouts were nice to have and the staff is really friendly. Best to go to Carrefour down the road for a better selection and also reasonable prices like here. read more

Where do i begin? The employees at this establishment are decent and kind unlike their security…read morestaff counterparts who are incompetent and in my experience plain evil. I have experienced persecution and aggressive behavior from their security on multiple occasions; i have decided that enough is enough. On one occasion the security guard waited until i was already in the sidewalk and ripped/dragged my cart out of my hands; in addition my arms were full with 2 large shopping bags. He couldn't care less that i might have dropped everything. He then proceeded to put his hands in one of my bags and take out a tea container to "scan" it. I could not believe his entitlement. I suppose it bothers them to see people with an abundance of groceries. I spend at least a thousand euros a month there out of convenience; unfortunately the treatment from their security is despicable. Not to mention there are various "check points" in the store and "mazes" of clothes, toys, home articles etc, before you can finally exit the store. There is also a detector and security cameras even by the tea isles, and store employees attending the self checkout. My question is : what are these security guards even doing there? They accuse, harass and aggress as they please. It is not a pleasant experience for the consumer, let alone for a woman, on the contrary. It is an experience full of unnecessary anxiety and injustice. If i could report them to a higher court trust me i would; to that height is the level of unpleasantness i have experienced from doing my groceries there. If you have a choice of going somewhere else, my suggestion is you do so. Especially if you are planning on doing a large shopping spree. I suppose they do not mind losing loyal customers. And yes i am a woman; and i have been by myself in each incident.

I appreciate that convenience of Monoprix, that you can do some light clothing and accessory shopping as well as food. If you have a car, they have a parking garage attached underneath the store. I believe parking is free for the first hour or so. I also got a rewards card, since in Paris Monoprix is a chain and was happy to see that I scored some extra discounts on my shopping.

I bought a few things not available in the states and was pleased to also see some of their own proprietary creations. This is a very well-kept shop with display cases you can actually walk up to as opposed to most magic shops I've known, where everything is usually on shelves behind the counter. I didn't spend a great deal of time there, but noticed that a few local magicians were hanging out and talking what else, but magic. It's so great to visit and support a brick and mortar shop. I'm told that "Magic Dream" has been around for 17 years and i wish them many, many more! Merci, Magic Dream, pour une super visite.

It's part of a nation-wide chain of stores where books, music and electronics are sold. No appliances though, just cameras, computers, printers and various other peripherals. In the case of this specific location, the space is clean, well maintained and rather popular. It is very well organized and they offer an incredible selection of all things to read, listen to and of computers and televisions. The staff is very knowledge and parking is easy to find on the street or in the giant parking lot under the mall in which this Fnac is a part of. I've been here on what seems to like a hundred occasions, mostly to buy presents but also to entertain myself and keep up with new releases. I very much like this store and would recommend it to anyone looking for presents or something to read or a CD. Also present in the store is a photo development service, a ticketing office for concerts and shows and a repair center in case your iPod shit the bed. The only downside to this place is that during busy hours, you might have to wait a while in one of the ten or so checkout lines. The best part about the Fnac stores is their layout and atmosphere, allowing one to peruse through the various sections, crack a book open, sit on the floor and read some of it, or listen to samples from various artists in another section. It's very casual like that and welcoming and that is something that I love abou tit.
