It was much larger than a Conad and very similar to an American market except their offerings are much more interesting. I was in love with the vast yogurt selection. Picked up some Pistacchio Yogurt for breakfast and it was delicious! They also had fresh fruit for decent prices and plenty of food souvenirs to take home. I found a box of Ferrero's Pocket Expresso that I've been searching for and some juices. Plenty of locals shop here as I didn't see too many tourists. Bonus: You can also buy bus tickets here!

We got fresh fruit, hand soap, biscotti, bottled water, and other random things throughout the week. The cashiers were patient with us each time we paid and they showed me how to print out a barcode based on the fruit I was purchasing. I wish this was my local city grocery store in the US.

They have a decent selection of items that you may need, from beer to cookies to produce. Again, not the freshest, but if you're in need of something and don't want to go into Florence, this is the best place to get it. Don't know the names of the employees, but one woman is very patient and helpful. On several occasions she has given us wonderful suggestions, such as which bread to use for sopping up soup or which sausage we should use for our sandwiches. Another, youngerish woman seems like she could care less if we get helped.

The store was very clean and appealing. We just guessed and got a cotto e fontina panini, along with one coke, some marinated artichokes, and sun dried tomatoes. All for 9 euro. The artichokes and sun dries tomatoes were so good my eyes rolled to the back of my head and made me question my fidelity. I thought about going to confession after lunch. Great for lunch or take away. One of the best finds in our trip.
