We've had the occasional lunch here on a weekend and the food is good and the service is what you would expect. One of these days we'll have to pop in and try their Afternoon Tea which is currently being subtlety promoted. The store itself has all the standard M&S foods which they somehow managed to cram into this tiny little store. It even has a small bakery for fresh breads and pastries and a small freezer section. For those on the go there's a small sandwich and party food section behind the min entrance, where you can grab a sandwich and get to the self service tills rather than fighting your way through the store just for a bit for lunch. It's always busy at the weekends, especially when they do a meal deal (best to go as soon as the advert airs on TV so that you don't miss out.) but if you time it right you can occasionally have the place to yourself to browse without tripping over the staff or having to dodge other customers baskets. As a vegetarian there is a decent choice available and M&S are slowly expanding their vegi options ( I'm not just thinking about their range of Veggie Percy Pigs, Colin the caterpillars, etc - honest ) however is is a bit frustrating when you see a nice desert on the TV adverts and find you can't have it because it contains Gelatine :-( Overall it's nice, good (slightly pricy) food, handy when you want a light lunch or hot drink, but best to avoid at peek times.

The prices in Asda are always very competitive (there is a large Tesco very nearby which ensures it stays competitive) and it always seems to be well stocked when I visit. The store is let down by the cleanliness. It just never seems clean! But the main thing is the carpark. Part of it is under the store and is very dull and dark and extremely dirty and therefore quite daunting to be in alone. I have never in all the years I've been going to this supermarket seen anyone clean it or police it. I have on a couple of occasions witnessed young joy riders speeding around it. In conclusion, this is a great store to buy your shopping on a budget but just needs extra security and a good clean.

They have a few checkouts but no self-service ones and there's an atm just outside. The store layout is pretty sensible, with most of the chilled items towards the back of the store and some freezer units along one wall.

This freezer shop is located within the Quadrant shopping centre. It is fairly well kept and has a…read moregood variety of goods on offer. It is mostly frozen foods but they also have groceries which can be very competitively priced. The staff are quite helpful. The store is easily accessed by disabled people and there is a car park located on the upper lovel of the centre. There are escalators and lifts available to get to the car park. The downside to the store is that it is located within this centre which is not very busy. A lot of passing trade would be missed as it is actually very difficult to find it. They have a savings stamp scheme available which is good for saving for food for a special occasion such as Christmas.

Morrisons always have loads of offers on and the only problem is that sometimes queues are pretty big. They also have some tills where you can only pay with cash which is quite annoying as when it is busy and you are looking for a till you can miss the sign.

It sells sugar at a good price and I use a lot of this for making tablet, so it comes in handy. The store has been there for around 20 years I would say, and it is needing refurbished. However, it is clean and the staff are really friendly and helpful which is good. The only downside is the parking facilities which are at the other side of the row of shops. It's not a problem for me personally, but would be for someone with young children or a disabled person struggling to get to their car with their shopping.
