Which is good for me because I find doing the weekly shop a tiny bit stressful. Just like all the other Lidl stores, there are loads of discounts all over the place and more sweets and chocolate than you could ever possibly want to eat. I always find the packing area at these supermarkets quite stressful. There's not enough space for all your items and you generally, to avoid a making a scene, have to throw the items straight back in the trolley without packing them. It's all quiet annoying really. It's like the staff were desperate to get me through the till quickly despite the fact I was the only customer in the store?! Hmph.

This one does have 2 levels, and you can take the lift (elevator) or the escaltors escalators. The escalator going down wasn't working the times I've been, but just walk down anyway. They have cashiers for check out as well as self check-out lanes. Prices here are awesome! I'm a huge fan of their bakery bread and the snacks. Their sparkling water game is pretty strong, too. Don't be shocked if I check in here again, lol!

The Liverpool One branch of Superstore is not actually the most super I have come across in Liverpool as there is one in Litherland which is gargantuan in comparison. However, Liverpool One Tesco is certainly what the town needs. You still have plenty of choice here, a variety of sections such as deli, clothes and international foods to keep you adding more to your basket! I find this place more of a relaxing and enjoyable shopping experience as opposed to the Metro version by the big screen, because its more spacious and offers an abundance of products. The location isn't great if you're driving there as it'll cost you pounds to park somewhere nearby but certainly convenient when you have other chores to do around town.

They did have some good deals on milk, this wasn't any specific brand but it did seem cheaper than I've found it anywhere else, by some difference too, it was around 27% cheaper here than many nearby retailers at £0.79 for around 2 litres. The store did have a lot of empty space, it did feel clean but it felt more like a pop-up shop than anything, the doors going into the store felt old, unwelcoming and narrow. The big bulk of items were unbranded, there weren't many things worth shouting about other than the milk offer, the staff seemed disinterested and were just standing around near each other with no acknowledgement of customers. 2* - I'd come in here for milk, or perhaps a look around every now and then, but there are many better similar outlets in the area, if you're looking to go in one or even two shops, I'd give this a miss.

Glimpses through cut-outs in the walls show further seating areas, for use in the full restaurant of an evening. I took a menu from the bar and had a read. The breakfast offerings look good, but as I read the menu I realise that the rest of the menu looks superb too! Steak nights, grill nights, Afternoon Teas and all sorts of other tempting things. I already decide before ordering that I must come again to the "proper" restaurant in an evening. I decided to order sourdough toast with whipped butter and marmalade, and a pot of Birchall's English Breakfast Tea, and was told to take a seat anywhere I like and it'd be brought over. I chose to sit by one of the sash windows and look down out over Market Street. Even seated I can see the fine quality finish on everything in this venue; the restaurant is the same quality and fit as the downstairs foodhall, meaning everything is spotless, modern, and pleasant. The staff upstairs seem to be as friendly and helpful as the staff downstairs too. It all feels very professional, whilst still very friendly. I observe other visitors who join after me, a mother and her children enjoying breakfast, some ladies-who-lunch ordering eggs benedict, and two young girls ordering soft drinks. It's nice to see that there's a mix of customers. My breakfast arrives, beautifully presented, but to be honest I wouldn't have expected any less from Provenance from what I've seen. The Fairtrade tea is delicious, and the sourdough toast has a superb crunch to it, the butter and marmalade both being of good quality, meaning you feel a bit spoilt for your breakfast, which can never be a bad thing. It was a very tasty breakfast, and cost less than four quid. Brilliant. Although there is nothing really oustanding about Madina Superstore to make you travel beyond your nearest Desi superstore, it is nice to have a proper Desi supermarket in Levenshulme to save Levy locals a trip up Stockport Road to Longsight. To say the layout wasn't very well thought out is a bit of an understatement. Unfortunately the store also has a thriving home delivery service which has expanded into the carpark. Shoppers use the free parking spaces at Tesco to visit the newly built Eagles Meadow Shopping Mall which is opposite the store making parking in what was already a small carpark almost impossible on a saturday. It has a very large car park & a petrol station with car wash on site so it's a handy store to have round the corner from where I work.

It does get busy in here sometimes but no more than any of the other supermarkets.
