A familiar store setup as with other Wegmans, but the whole deli and dining corner of the store had this palpable buzz that was exciting. The curry chicken salad was as good as expected, but the penne salad had a velvety olive oil vinegarette dressing and the cherry tomatoes were just perfectly ripe and firm.

She had seen him standing there the whole time, yet never communicated that she was closing the line. If she had simply let him know earlier, he wouldn't have wasted his time. It was extremely frustrating for him to leave without a meal, especially since he only had a limited break. It's disappointing that the employee couldn't either take a moment to let him know or just finish his order since he was the last person in line. We expect better customer service from Wegmans.

I usually use self-checkout, and they always have someone standing by to help if there are any issues. The store also runs good specials and regularly has coupon sheets up front and/or in the weekly circular.

Very rude and totally unacceptable in any walk walk of life. On top of that the self check out is an absolute joke! Every single item I scanned stopped the process and said "please wait for an attendant" ten times!!! Another example of zero investment and cheapest for best...which is the second reason for never shopping here again. Thanks for nothing!

Go on Sundays and try some of the free samples that they have displayed through out the store but also quite busy and chaotic on the weekends. This Wegmans is ok with their organic and healthy food section and I can usually find what I need such as cocoa, and gluten free products etc. The lines to check out can sometimes be quite long and check your receipts afterwards because the check out cashiers sometimes run through your groceries so fast that they charge you double for your items with out even noticing. This has happened to us a handful of times in which we had to go back to customer service with our receipts in order to get our money back.

Corp has officially started to ban consumers for life if "caught" paying for other Walmart shoppers' groceries. After Walmart. Corp has decided to give a life ban to never go in Walmart, Sams club or any of Walmart's sister companies after a 40-year-old man named Damon Darling was giving money to help an older woman pay for her groceries. Walmart employees then gave a trespassing notice to him and told him he cannot return to the location. Not too long after he being given notice was he then given a permanently life ban to any Walmart store and active to this day. further information can be given on the web, as for Walmart they lied and claimed he was causing a disturbance that was "in rightful regard to Walmart customers" yet said customer was merely paying for another groceries.

So I wandered into this place after a Google search for somewhere to buy seafood other than my…read morelocal grocery store. I didn't know exactly what I wanted, was just thinking something fresh as I was preparing a seafood alfredo so almost anything would have worked. I walked in and the gentleman behind the counter asked what he could get for me, and I replied that I didn't really know (as I was planning on asking him for recommendations) He looked at me and said "then what the hell are you doing here?" (with kind of a grin on his face). I'm not saying that comment would have been accepted by everybody however my interpretation was that he read me pretty well and he was correct in the fact that I thought it was funny. But anyway, I told him what I was thinking about doing and he recommended some bay scallops and shrimp... I got home and made my alfredo sauce, some pasta, added the seafood and oh my gosh. The quality of this seafood was off the chart. I thought I was doing pretty well with for example the shrimp I was purchasing at my usual supermarket however after tasting this, I will be a regular customer. The place is rather small, and they don't have an excessive amount of anything as far as I could tell, however they have a little bit of everything. I'm quite sure they have more in the back at least what little space there is in the back, and I did read reviews in other places (or maybe even on here I can't remember) that apparently you can get on their email list and therefore you will know when the truck comes in if you really want fresh seafood. So anyway, definitely a place I would recommend to anybody that's in the Elmira New York area. You will not be disappointed.

Great prices on many items better than most stores. Especially if you buy in bulk things like toilet paper, paper towels, and non perishable items. In my opinion they have two weaknesses. First produce in general is not great just like their other business Walmart they don't do a great job of sourcing good produce. However sometimes I have found some fresh oranges and a few other fruits worth grabbing. The second is quality items meaning if you want some options for organic or non gmo options they very lacking in these areas. All in all Sams has great stuff I would highly recommend spending 40 bucks for a membership which gives you 2 cards so you could even split it with a friend.

I was very disappointed to see one of the employees post posting a product that was sold in limited quantities for the public.... "While supplies last". For a markup from $60 to 350.. It's not fair to customers that an employee can stock up on these items and sell them to turn a profit, preventing regular customers from being able to purchase a single one. I would not recommend choosing Sam's Club if you're on the hunt for merchandise that is sold in a limited qualities because the allow their employees to resell items.
