The older lady that works there with dark hair is RUDE. She was judging our order with a rude, snotty tone. I'm sorry - do you not want our money lady?? Sorry if I order "a lot" of something. Those were her words. She said it 3 different times as if she couldn't fathom extra topping. It was a VERY simple order, and an easy way for her to make an extra large sale. Even if it was hard, I shouldn't feel talked down to. You're not my mom, you don't need to judge the amount I order. Regardless, It wasn't all for me - I was taking it home. I didn't tell her that because it's not her business, and I don't owe her an explanation, but good god she was rude over something so simple. My favorite place to order an ice cream cake! Who doesn't love ice cream cake? And why should one be restricted to boring old vanilla and chocolate ice cream with chocolate cookie filling? How about ANY ice cream flavors and ANY filling? How about a cake made with one layer of peanut butter cup ice cream and one layer of muddy sneakers-and....crushed peanut butter cups in the middle! Whoa! But, I mean really...think about the limitless options here! You can get creative-maybe even a little crazy! They finally take debit/credit cards-THANK YOU! I stopped by here for the first time a few days ago after hearing mixed reviews about this place. I was pretty impressed! The place was very family friendly. It was clean and had some fun colors and pictures around. Both of the young men working at the time were polite and friendly. There isn't a ton of seating inside, but they have 2 benches outside so that makes up for the inside seating. The variety alone blew me away. They have quite a few flavors of hard ice cream, regular vanilla/chocolate/twist soft serve and a decent selection of toppings and cones. They also make ice cream cakes and cookie sandwiches! I'm pretty sure I saw a small amount of food on the menu but I didn't try any of that. I ended up just having soft serve and sprinkles with a regular cone and it was good! As a college student with a limited budget to begin with, I felt that the prices for everything weren't bad at all. I would recommend this ice cream shop and would come back again! read more

The older woman who works there is extremely rude. I went one night with my family of 6. It was 9:23 when we walked in, and the first thing she said to us was "we close at 10" extremely rude. My family and I had never been there before, so it took probably a total of 5 minutes for us to decide our orders. One of my brothers ordered their version of a flurry. When he said he wanted one to the lady she gave him an annoyed look and responded: "Um alright? You have to tell me what you want in it." In an extremely rude tone. This was the worst experience I have ever had at an ice cream shop. I will never return again due to this treatment. There are so many better options in the area. I do not recommend. read more

It's alright, it's an average ice cream shop. It's not homemade, which is fine (although that is what I prefer), but I feel like the need more options. They have Hershey's ice cream, which is great, that's what Suzie Q's sells too and I love that place, but oddly enough they also have a few flavors of Edy's Ice Cream mixed in. I swear they used to serve perry's at one point but maybe i'm mistaken. I had one ice cream flavor here last year that was supposed to taste like movie theater popcorn mixed with milk duds. I know that sounds gross but it wasn't too bad! They didn't have that on my most recent visit though, I got some kinda average flavors, nothing too interesting. the people are nice though and it's good that this area has an ice cream parlor, but they could definitely use some more variety! read more

This place usually has the best soft-serve I've tasted. Tonight, something was up with the machine. The prices are great, the service is friendly, but the soft-serve was not up to scratch this evening. They couldn't pour it in a cone, so had to have a dish, but the flavor was still excellent. Great spot during the summer (any season actually) for some ice cream. Only problem is it's kinda hidden further down Vestal. I usually get the raspberry(?) cheesecake flavor. They recommended that the first time I went and I never considered getting anything else. read more

I've been here twice now and am really impressed. Their soft serve is fantastic! Today I asked for a cookies and cream hard ice cream cone, and it was also quite tasty. This place changed ownership recently and is a BIG improvement. The owners are very hard working and very nice,. There is a lot of space to sit down, watch cars, watch people, etc. the ice cream is pretty good. They also offer an assortment of other foods most people would enjoy. It's definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area. read more

One of my favorites. They are very allergy friendly which is one of the reasons we travel there for ice cream over the rest. We never get the annoyed attitude when asking for a freshly washed scooper. They are always most accommodating in keeping my son safe. Their prices are fair and the ice cream so delicious. The soft serve is the best I've ever had, I could eat it every week (or every day?). The serving sizes are smaller and the prices a bit higher than under the previous ownership, but still very reasonable and delicious. I return as often as possible. Note that there is now a $5 minimum charge for credit card transactions. read more

I love their soft serve with hot fudge and Caramel. During the summer we walk up there on evening to get ice and go watch the local band in the park play. Great place, prices are great and everyone is friendly and helpful. I am glad they are open now during the dog days of winter :) read more
