Plenty of parking and the place closes at 10:00 which is reasonable for a park. We walked around and the amount of property here is amazing. I wish I had more to say but I don't need to I guess. It's appears to be free and the only down fall is that there is no alcohol. With this said, Kuhnhenn is just down the road so no harm done.

There was an outhouse by one of the entrances. There was a round pavilion by the playground. And a band shell type pavilion. The whole area is partially fenced in with various entries. Lots of activities, soccer, baseball, double basketball, horseshoes, lots of open green space to throw balls. The playground was too hot to go down the slide. Sun shade would be ideal. A water feature would make this park outstanding. Although it is pretty awesome as it is.

There is also a nice splash pad area that is very popular and wonderful trails for walking and biking. There are plenty of restrooms in the immediate area too.

Only goes on the one side is all. There's a path on the side but it doesn't go around is all. The path is covered with small rocks, not so friendly to the thin sole flats. The back and forth walking path is paved leading around the lake into a beautiful forest area. Only about a third of the lake is accessible since the neighboring golf course locks the northern side. The accessible lakeside is shallow. Along the lake you will find benches to rest at or fishermen young and old. The onsite restrooms and water fountain were super helpful! Sylvan Glen Lake Park is a great spot to spend for the day or even stop on the way home from work for a fresh breath of air!

There is now a new paved bike and walking trail around the lake that opened up this past Spring…read more2021. It is part of the Troy Trails and such a great addition. Since the trail was completed more people are coming here to walk, bike, and fish especially in the evening hours. The trail doesn't go around the whole lake but a semicircle from the side opposite of the golf course. It's a short .75 mike tail and at the end goes through the woods and leads you into a neighborhood subdivision. The only thing this place needs now is an outdoor bathroom and water fountain.

The walking trail is more or less lined with downed tree trunks to guide you through the woods.

It's behind Pub Froggy off of 13 Mile. They have a walking track and are pet friendly. There is a playground for the kids as well as a pavilion with BBQ grills. In the middle of the park they have a baseball diamond. It's hardly ever crowded and it's a great place to walk and get some fresh air.
