The people were kind when I asked them a few things, although I couldn't always understand them with them accents and unpolished English. They have all kinds of baking ingredients, including cake layers. There are breads of all kinds. You can buy candies by the pound. Check out the deli meats, cheeses and cakes. There is almost always a huge stock of Hawaiian plantains, and this is the only Asian grocery store in the area that has them. There is also a good selection of soy sauce and canned things (e.g., lychee, longan, bamboo shoots). I will say that the snacks on the shelf will sometimes be expired (I once accidentally bought a cookie package whose expiration date was a year past) and you will have to scan produce for mold, but besides some isolated cases I haven't had much experience with food from here having gone bad.

Much bigger than it looks from outside. There's a lot to look through in this small store so take some time. A favorite section is the beer. It all is located in a small refrigerated section. There's all kinds of unfamiliar sounding beers so you aren't going to find cans of Natty Lite or shit like that. Beer of this quality here is pretty cheap. There's a few large bottles for about $2, and these are pretty large. Besides the beer they also have lots of coffee and pop. They have some varieties that you can't find anywhere else like it seems. Among the food is lots and lots of candy. It's about $2 for a good size bag and there's lots to choose from. The ingredients are in different languages but includes English too. It even has a produce section and the fruits and vegetables look fresh. They have a very large deli section. Cool place for getting European food. It can be hard to find because it's hard to see. Not sure if they purposely purchase these expired items for cheaper, or if they just stock too much and are unable to sell everything and don't clear the expired items off the shelves. Regardless, you definitely need to check the expiration date on everything before purchasing. Not worth the drive across the border to come here alone but if I'm already in Windsor for food, I may stop by to browse and purchase some snacks.
