Who knows anybody's four- digit extension these days?? DMV doesn't even sign their correspondence, they send out. No name or department mentioned I ran a call center and I know from experience, customers don't have time to wait on hold. When you call a company, the first point of contact, if there is one, usually gets you to the right department, first and foremost. If a customer is put on hold, that's the time all the information about opening hours, directions, etc , could be included. Some companies prefer "hold" music, at this time. I always thought it's the perfect time for all the company information to be included.

The staff were kind, assistive, professional, funny, and accommodating. I had to let my lady know that I had a pleasant experience. Her booth neighbor said, 'Her name is Mimi". Which later I find out, was Adrienne (? Spl). They were jokers; and their jokes were light hearted. The staff answered my questions welcomingly and succinctly. I appreciate that I wasn't belittled nor treated condescendingly. My past DMV experience included staff who were on power trips and untouchable demeanor. One staff in Wayne even questioned my presence as a mother of a minor. There was an instance that a lady yelled out, "No pictures". Everyone around me looked puzzled. I looked at who yelled and looked at me. She yelled again, "No pictures." I had to reply back that it wasn't me. "Well someone was taking pictures." I have no reason to take pictures. Since folks at PA Driver's License Centers rarely get any praise, I want to give a shout-out to the…read morefolks at the Bensalem location on Neshaminy Blvd. I renewed my driver's license online more than a month ago; however, my camera card never arrived in the mail. I called PennDot and the kind assistant there told me to just go in with my proof of registration and payment, and a new camera card and license would be issued. I opted for the Bensalem location and he agreed it was the best choice - I arrived to a moderate line before the location opened; however, MULTIPLE staffers came out and checked in with everyone in line as to why we were there and what we needed. While it was busy, I was able to get a duplicate camera card and get out in under an hour. All of the staff were friendly and efficient, and everyone moved through quickly. Compared to the frank wait forever NIGHTMARE the Huntingdon Valley location closer to me can be, this was a breeze. Thanks to a great group of employees who really showed they CARE about their customers.

I went to the DMV office at 2904 South 70th Street to get a REAL ID same day issue…read more I arrived on a Wednesday afternoon at 1:55 p;m. and was finished by 2:45 There were no lines out the door. There was a person checking documents and answering questions. I was given a number and some forms to complete. When my number was called, I went to an area where I was able to sit down, get my documents processed and pay the fees. Then I was given a new ID card which is good for 5 years. Note that the REAL ID does not say REAL ID on it, it's the same as my old ID with a gold star on the upper right side of the card.
