My insurance company instructed me to ask the DMV to make a phone call to verify the situation before my tags could be retained. Unfortunately, one of the floor leads responded loudly by saying, "I'm not making that call." I found that response unprofessional and frustrating, especially since I was only following the instructions my insurance company had given me. Thankfully, another staff member, Mailee, stepped in and offered to make the call. She handled everything professionally, resolved the issue quickly, and made the rest of the process smooth and stress-free. Her willingness to help made a big difference, and I truly appreciate her excellent customer service. Thank you, Mailee, for going above and beyond to help me. You just made this review a 5 star.

With all the information out there on the state website and the Roseville website all the documents you need, do your research, and stop blaming an office that goes over and back to help everyone! Yes it does sometimes take two people to check in so the line goes faster! You want to get a number without the staff to look at your documents so you can sit out there wait for your number and have wrong documents as you didn't want to go through the triage to know that you have the correct documents. Do your research. This Office answers their phones, emails and the service is outstanding between passports and license center! My friends and family have been coming here for many many years even when they were located at the old fire station. ​ This office deserve a great review as they do give you all the paperwork you need and a list of all state requirements. I would hope you could follow the directions provided. God knows the service they provide is not always easy, as for the ones that give poor reviews are the ones that have no idea what it takes to do their job. When writing a review look how you would want to have a review writing about your Job and work establishment. I'm thankful for all the services that this center gives as it is accurate.

Word to the wise, the lines tend to be long but don't be discouraged. Never really had any issues with customer service as the staff members are polite even if the customers are getting rowdy. From what I can tell, seems like they have a multilingual staff as I have noticed staff talking with customers in Spanish and Hmong. There is an extra charge (believe it is 2.5% as of 11/22/24) if you are using a card so if you want to avoid that, bring a check or cash. Docking a star only because it would be efficient if they had a numbering system as the space inside is small and it gets packed where people are literally on top of each other waiting & if your trying to fill out paperwork with sensitive information like SSN etc. there is no privacy. Would be nice to just wait in your vehicle until the number is getting closer. Also - the card fee is not listed until you get to the counter to pay and I've seen some frustration from folks who don't know about the additional charge until they are about to pay so some signage would help.

I have such mixed feelings about this DMV…read more First parking is difficult. It's in a strip mall and to ensure the other business having parking for their customers most of the upfront spots are reserved for each companies customers. The lot is always full! Had to circle a few times before getting a spot. Second this location looks a bit different than any of the others I've been to. Looks like a pop up. You walk in and take a number but it is crowded so it's hard to even see that that's what you need to do and it's weird to approach because you have to squeeze between people being helped at the counter to grab a #. Third - No privacy at this location. When you approach the counter you are elbow to elbow with the other people at the counter (especially when people have 2-3 people approaching with them) also the seats for people waiting/standing is tight- less than 10 steps between the seating & counter. Also I was a bit concerned they don't really have those tables with the pens connected like other locations, they have one table with forms and you just fill it out however you can. It's packed so there's definitely people sitting around that one table. You can fill out the forms online ahead of time, which felt a bit more secure. The man sitting next to me had his form on his lap which displayed all his personal info including his ssn. Forth - when I first walked in they just called #14. I pulled #46. I thought I was going to be there all day with how crowded it was. I even thought about leaving to grab food and coming back later. I went outside for a bit then came back in stood until a chair opened. For the most part they were calling the numbers fairly fast. They would call a number 3x before moving on if no one responded. Some people needed Spanish speaking reps and most of the reps did not speak Spanish so they would wait and kind of go up one after another even if their number wasn't called yet. Again small location I could hear some of the employees complaining to each other what kind of services they "weren't" dealing with that day, which added an extra level of unprofessionalism to this location. I know they didn't care that we could hear but still. I waited about 35ish minutes for them to get from #14-46 which isn't as bad as I thought it would be. They were able to scan my ID and pull up my forms, I had to take a pic. There were people walking in front of me while the rep was trying to take my pic and a man even stopped to stand partially in front of me- no type of awareness to what was going on. I'll say I'm somewhat impressed with how fast (considering) things moved along but everything else here was a no for me.
