We went out and bought all the best products from the drug store, contacted our kids PCM had them prescribe medication . After a week of what felt like a never ending battle. I felt defeated! I did a last search on google. "How to get rid of lice!" At the top was Lice Clinics of America. I truly felt that this is my last resort. We called the next morning, getting in within an hour. Me being quite overwhelmed with 5 kids. Everyone took their time at the Lice Clinic of America faculty in Lakewood. Explained treatment, helped to answer my million questions. I never knew how common lice was, how over the counter product are so toxic and don't actually work. How I was trying to win something I would of never of won. I walked away more relaxed then I was on a two week vacation. Educated, reassured that if anything comes up they are a phone call away or I can come in. Going forward I will be recommending to anyone who comes into contact or believes they do to get it checked out here. It's worth every dime.

I stumbled upon Cascade Foot Care when I was searching for a place that could do some toenail…read moretrimming. Several accidents which resulted in losing toenails had them growing back rather painfully and too thick for me to handle. I didn't want to take a chance with just any pedicure at a salon so when I learned that the staff were registered nurses, I sent an email with my questions. Geraldine replied quickly and answered all of my questions about cost, parking, and what they do. I made an appointment and am writing this several hours after, so I do not forget one bit of the amazing service that I experienced. First, the business is located in a house with two designated parking spots in front in the driveway. I learned that they stagger their appointments so clients will not be stuck without parking. Clear signage tells you to enter on the right and once you do, you will be inside a small waiting area with several chairs and a spot for a receptionist. . When I opened the door, I did not have to wait. Katie greeted me and took my paperwork for new patients while also showing me to the treatment chair. Once I was settled, Katie reclined me like a dental patient and began her work. It is important to mention that you will not have your feet soaked before treatment. This is explained on their website: "We do not soak feet before our treatment. One reason for this is, it provides a better sense, or feeling, for where callus thickness ends before the softer skin below the callus. This helps prevent injury." I appreciated that because I have had overzealous nail techs pumice a little too vociferously which caused sore skin after I left the salon. Katie dealt with my janky toenails and callouses with a tool called the Auroria, a German tool that has a vacuum and light at the tip to help remove dust as the nurse works on the nail. The instruments used during my visit were clean and sterile. The website states that their tools are suitable for ultrasonic cleaning which begins their process. After the first cleaning, that is followed by manual cleaning and drying. The instruments then receive high level disinfection via an autoclave and after my visit, they do indeed take a patient's safety seriously. When she was done with the trimming, Katie painted my toenails with a clear coat and explained that some nails can crumble and bacteria can sneak in there. The polish helps stop that sort of nonsense and that makes for healthy toenails. She then applied a balm and gave me a brief foot massage to really rub it into my skin. My feet were pleasantly moisturized and thankfully NOT greasy. I was chatty throughout the visit but during the foot rub, I may have lost the ability to make sentences. When it was all done and said, my visit was very affordable for the services that I received. The treatment areas were clean, hygienic, and comfortable. There were no strong fragrances and the ambient temperature was perfect. This might be the longest review that I have written but I genuinely had a spectacular visit, so much so that I made my second appointment before I left! Katie gave me a Christmas card and a little gift bag as a thank you. A lot of reviews wax hyperbolic about stellar service but truly if I could give Katie more than five stars, I would readily do so. She was friendly and took her time with my foot care. We had easy conversation and I look forward to returning in March to keep up with my foot care. Thank you to everyone at Cascade Foot Care for existing and providing services that are otherwise headachy to schedule via healthcare.

Anyway I was seeing a dr for years in California for this issue then I started seeing this amazing nail technician who knew what to do. I moved to Seattle and I have been struggling to find someone who can take care of my injured foot. As it hurts to walk sometimes. So someone told me hey try the medical pedicure as they will take care of your feet medically. So I was searching on yelp and I stumbled with Cascade. I called them and left a VM explaining my situation. Kid you not I got a call back right away from Laura who was so sweet and understanding and was able to fit me in the next day. I went there and was greeted by the most professional and sweet lady ever or I should say ladies. She understood exactly what needed to be done. Spent one hour working on both feet and I feel so much better. No more ugly looking foot. I am so thankful for Laura and so happy to find my place now to take care of this. The little clinic is so cute and clean, Laura & the other lady who I didn't get her name are super sweet and nice. I love that Laura knows what she is doing and I am in good hands.

I most recently visited Dr. Yoo late last year. I had a weird growth on the bottom of my lower lip that I was fervently hoping would go away on its own, but it never did. It looked a bit like a blackhead, but it was something else, because it was there for many months. Dr. Yoo told me the technical name for it when I saw her, but I don't remember what it is. It wasn't really changing in size or appearance, and unlike a few moles that Dr. Yoo has removed, I really wasn't concerned about it as a medical issue. Dr. Yoo let me know that because it was a cosmetic issue, I would need to pay the full fee for it. She estimated the fee, and it seemed reasonable, so I went ahead and got it removed. It took 2 separate appointments, and the final cost fell exactly within her estimate range, so I appreciated that. My growth was removed, and I needed to return for the second visit in order to get the stitch taken out. I was concerned by how my lip appeared when I returned, the area where the growth had been looked darker than I'd expected and a bit more red as well, but my concerns were addressed and allayed, and within another 1 - 2 weeks after the second appointment, my lip looks as though it never had a growth at all, which was the precise result I was most hoping for. Dr. Yoo's MA is very personable and professional, as are the excellent reception staff. The waiting room is pleasant, the checking in process is seamless, and I am always seen by the Doctor within a timely manner. I plan on continuing with Dr. Yoo as my Dermatologist for the foreseeable future. I highly recommend both Dr. Yoo and this Office.
