Wow. First, we love…read morevisiting libraries, especially in rich ski towns. They are free, warm, quiet, and have books, puzzles, games, free bathrooms, and sometimes programs and storytimes. We've been to many around the country during snow storms or just to visit. Today was a beautiful day and my kids and I walked from the ski village to the downtown Ketchum area, had pizza, did some shopping, and walked over here. They have this great room for kids to chill and read and we were the only ones in there. What a lovely place filled with free books you can read!

There's a review stating that the library is loud. That has never been my experience. Libraries are not the silent places they were in the past, but the TFPL certainly hasn't been loud on my (many) visits. We are so lucky to have the TFPL.

As my family passed through town, we came to this library to do our homeschool studies and I was…read morepleasantly surprised by the size of the children's section and the variety of activities and spaces for different things. A great place to study, look at books or play with their toys. They also had a toddler story time one morning with a very enthusiastic and fun librarian. She even played the ukulele! The families that live here have a very special library.

I can't really speak to the "library" aspect of it (like books - LOL!) but they host a lot of…read moreevents like Bilingual Storytime, WARP - Winter Adult Reading Program, Weekly Knitting Group, Senior Citizen Nerf Battle, and many more. The event that I was a part of was hosted in this nice, clean open space with lots of natural light, today's newspapers, tables and chairs, and with a large screen that comes down from the ceiling for everyone to be able to view the presentation.
