It's got a section for teenagers and a large section for children in the basement that will make children feel like they've visited a special place, just for them. The staff was able to help us make library cards, which is easy, as long as you have copy of your ID on you and we were able to try out the computers and explore the books and find our first 3 (Limited to 3 the first time you check out, but 10 or 20 after that) books and are excited to read them and return them, so we can revisit and check out from this library again. This place is absolutely worth checking out and they also provide a lot of community activities you can get involved in and have a neat walking trail out front with statues of animals we want to walk down when the weather warms up.

I recently moved to the area and was amazed to discover that my new local library just happens to be the best library I've ever been to. The selection of books is excellent and the children's section is wonderful. But they go above and beyond in so many areas; They have a great selection of the normal fare movies, audio books, and magazines. But you can also play and check out board games, graphic novels, telescopes, and fishing rods. They have a teen area. Study areas. A bookstore, where you can find great prices. And they have a cafe. I have also lived all over and been to many great local and university libraries. UC Berkeley has…read morelike nice libraries, and I spent lots of hours there. I like this one better. That's right. This one is truly amazing. It is very well planned. It is inviting. You can check out an I-pad for free. Large & small meeting rooms, nice study tables. The wifi can get slow at times. There are separate themed sections, teens, kids, business, etc. The restaurant is a little pricier than I would like to see, especially since the location of the library is not in a walkable area. That is the only super BAD thing about this library is that it is FAR out from everything. There is only 1 bus that goes to it and I am a public transit nerd. The food at the cafe is really good, but expensive for a student on a budget, and there aren't any affordable places in walking distance. One plus, is that the food is a lot healthier than what I usually eat. The servers were cute and friendly. The shelving staff aren't super friendly. There was a water bottle on top of the I-pad kiosk for over an hour. I tried to flag down the guy shelving audio books, but he totally ignored me. I dunno maybe he was just a guy doing court ordered community service or something or in a bad mood. But I love this place anyway! One thing that I love, is that you can print using their printers via smartphone, your own pc or tablet with their mobile printing feature. I could live here all the time. It's awesome sauce.

Ugh, I just got done running home to get a utility bill to show to renew my library card. I've had…read morea library card here for 5 years. First when it was a private library and I donated money for an annual card and now the second year since it has become a public library. I voted YES to it becoming public because I grew up appreciating having access to a library. Now, seeing how elderly the population is here, I hope more and more benefits will be developed for them through this community library. Short version to my mediocre star rating is based on the inefficiency of the one website that the staff can utilize to confirm residency, its ineffectual. As a resident of 5 years and a tax payer for 5 years, I could not be found. I sympathize with people further out of town, the elderly, new commers, and previous or on-going library patrons having to prove who they are past showing their drivers license. The information my paper file they hold has the exact same information that appears on my drivers license! I'm an election judge in Taney county, and the legal residence in the United States are allowed to vote legally easier than trying to obtain a library card here. I receive surveys to better this library and diligently fill them out. I hope this note goes towards addressing this issue. The library staff deserves better tools to assist guests to this library. Thank you,

The atmosphere is calm yet vibrant, with just enough activity to remind you that you're part of a community hub. It's the kind of place where you can lose track of time because the environment is so conducive to focus and creativity. I didn't need one of the study or work rooms today, but I was impressed by how well they're integrated into the library's layout.
