I met him at a networking group a few years ago. Unlike most tax guys I've met, Tom is very jolly and has a laugh that fills up six rooms. A sense of humor is soooooo appreciated when dealing with something as stressful as taxes. He's good at dumbing things down for the tax-jargon illiterate like myself. He's also always been very helpful and available. Tom always offers knowledgeable advice on things that you can do to make your business run at it's best tax-wise. I'd be lost without him. However, we were very fortunate to find Fowler Tax and they have been absolutely fantastic preparing our tax returns for the past five years. Peggy Price is terrific, she is one of those rare people that has a great customer service ethic as well as a great head for numbers, explaining things in terms that non-accounting people (like me) can understand. She stays on top of all the changes to the tax laws and has been very adept at guiding us thru the maze of tax laws, including the big changes to the tax laws two or three years ago. I highly recommend Fowler tax without reservation, and have, in fact, recommended them in the past to my friends. And to those complaining about their fees, what would you rather have: a little bit higher fee now, or a cheaper fee from a different tax preparer and an unforeseen and unexpected IRS bill of a couple of thousand dollars later on?
