Contacted about pick up at 4AM. No problem . Confirmed the day before. Never showed up. Had to drive to the airport and park in long term parking. I cost me $60 above the quoted price for the shuttle. Driver contacted me the day befor I was to return and wanted to argue that he picked me up. My car was at the airport. I recommend calling versus sending an email or submitting a service request via the site. My email bounced back and site request had an error message. The indirect route to reach liberty shuttle was through me sending a direct message via Yelp to 30A taxi service. I was perusing other services since I had no luck emailing or through website contact with liberty shuttle that I ended up messaging 30A service and Jim from Liberty got back to me. I am making a safe guess that these businesses are connected. Pros: -Jim the owner is friendly and prompt to respond. -He offered a discounted rate for service. -Spoke on the phone hands free Cons: -He was transparent prior to pickup that he would be late by a few minutes, however he was late to the degree that we made it to our flight at the time they were boarding. Literally dropped us off at the time they started to board. We rushed through TSA. Thank Goodness we had carry-on only luggage. -He vented his frustration on being late and the other incidences his drivers were facing throughout the whole duration of the trip to the airport. This made us uncomfortable and increased our stress level since we were nervous that we'd miss our flight. -He complained about Uber encroaching on the taxi service territory in the area in time for Spring Break and how his finances were taking a hit. -He was texting while driving. Lateness happens, we get it. We also understand that it's important to inform us about the reason for tardiness and the travel variables involved. However, I think there's a level of discretion as well as professionalism in unloading frustration. Being from a large metro city we also understand heavy traffic, assertive and often aggressive driving. We didn't feel quite safe with his driving. It probably was affected by the tardiness factor and trying to get us to the airport in order to not miss our flight. My significant other who is a mechanic noticed that his tires needed some attention as the stability of the tire in the high speed to our destination was concerning. I dislike not giving above 3 stars, but unfortunately this interaction warranted less. read more

Excellent service! Called about a week prior to our vacation to set up transportation from the PC airport to Seacrest Beach. Jim, the owner, answered promptly. We needed 3 car seats for the grandkids; he had them; no extra charge. Arrived on time to the airport, took us to Walmart to pickup our online grocery order; then to Publix to get a couple items Wal-Mart was out of. He was a very courteous, friendly, safe driver. Then a week later, he came back to pick us up right on schedule. Highly recommend and will definitely use again next time we fly into PC! read more

This team is awesome. Every time I have to travel out of town, I contact Jim (owner of Liberty) to schedule a ride to the airport so I can enjoy my breakfast and coffee on the drive in, and no Lt worry about parking and leaving my car for a few days. The band are incredibly clean (I wish I could keep my car this clean), drivers friendly. They are always early and waiting for me. I've never had to wait. Jim and Mike have been great. The two stars are solely for the fact that the ride was on time, clean and Mitchell was amazing and friendly. However, Steve one of the co-owners picked us up at 0430 to take us to Panama City Airport and the entire time made racist comments that dampered the end to our wonderful trip. We couldn't believe the rant he went on about African Americans, mentioning gangs, guns, drugs and rapists that would come to Panama City from Atlanta and how the city put bans that now prevent this. I cannot believe the ignorance, believing we agreed with his racist assessments. Will not use this service again. read more

Last week, I called Liberty Shuttle in the a.m. to get a ride to the airport a few hours later for a last minute flight. A young man picked me up ON TIME, had a great chat on the way to the airport and was charged a reasonable price. I was a little nervous after reading the reviews of the other taxi services in PCB, but I relied on Liberty's 5 star reviews and I'm glad I did - they are worth the 5 stars. I hope I don't need another emergency flight out, but if I do it's good to know I have a reliable way to get to the airport. And, as a condo-owner, it's nice to have a taxi service to recommend to renters. read more

My wife and I were in town for crusin the coast car show and called to get transportation from our condo to the airport. Jim was there to pick us up 10 minutes early and was such a great guy. He even called me back to ask if we would like car seats for my 2 children (5 and 3). He arrived early, and had the car seats ready to go. He also accepts Square, which is incredibly handy!! Jim bailed me out when my truck broke down while on vacation in PCB. He picked me up on time at my condo and took me to a parts store across the bridge so I could get what was needed for the repair. While normally not operating as a taxi service, I was very thankful that he made an exception and helped me get back on the road as quickly as possible. Jim was great and went truly above and beyond. He drove us to the airport very early in the morning. My preschooler left her favorite little bear in the car seat and we didn't realize it until we had boarded the plane. I texted Jim and he mailed it back to her the next week. It made her day to get her lovey back and I cannot say enough how much we appreciated his kindness in making the effort to get it back to her. My Husband had fallen ill while we were vacationing in PCB. He decided to go to Urgent Care while I stayed back at the hotel with our son. Long story short, he had to go to the ER and ended up with an emergency appendectomy. This is where Jim comes in to play. I was stuck at the hotel with no car to get to the hospital..... with a 1 year old. I googled for taxis with car seats but came up empty handed until I came across a previous Yelp review about Jim having car seats for previous customers. I immediately called Jim and asked if there was anyway he could fit a trip in due to our situation. He didn't even hesitate. He showed up to our hotel, car seat ready to go. (He even had to meet up with another driver to retrieve the car seat before coming to get us, as he did not have one in his van at the time.) He drove us in to town, 15ish miles away. He was a lifesaver for us, as I really had no idea how I was going to get to the hospital with a 1 year old in tow. We had great conversation on the trip there and Jim couldn't have been anymore nice, helpful and considerate. Thank you Jim for helping us out in a very stressful situation! read more
