Steve Pante - State Farm Insurance Agent - State Farm Office

Steve Pante - State Farm Insurance Agent

Grant City

Wasn't able to speak to Steve Pante but was able to talk to this local State Farm office that…read moreunderwrote the car insurance policy for a car that was purchased thru identity thief. Someone stole my brother in law's identity, purchased the insurance, and with the insurance purchased a car in Florida and had it ship to NYC. (We found out about this transaction is because Audi and State Farm sent out a invoice and letter about the car and car insurance.) This review is for the folks in the office and not with Steve Pante per se. But if he represent the office and the office represent him, this office be avoided as all cost. Their is no customer service at all. It seem like all they wanted to do have get your money and if there is a report of an issue is to get you off the phone and pass the buck to the corporate office. They did not even try to call the corporate office to assist in reviewing the policy that they have open on false pretense or without and due diligent. The events is as follow: When I spoke to the lady from the office (since Steve Pante wasn't in the office yet and that she stated that she has herself underwrote the insurance policy) where right off the bat ,she seem to be in a rush to get me off the phone and have claim without any proof that this cannot be a identity thief since there was an online requested for the policy and that there was a credit card charge of $199 for the insurance policy, not realized that that is what identity thief is, they sold the the credit card info. So have ask to check with my brother in law to see if there was any request for the quote and if he has submitted the payment. During this time, my bother in law was at the policy station filing the police report and based on the VIN # and carfax report he got from the police station, we learn which dealership has sold the car. So I called back and spoke to guy this time around and was explaining the situation where he too sound like he didn't wanted to help, but I had to cut it short since the police station was calling me to help translate. I was hoping to explain to them that my brother in law as never requested any care insurance quote with State Farm. After I spoke with the police station they had me call the dealership where we have confirm it was truly an identity thief case and the copy of the driver license they have on file that they sold the car on was not my bother in law's licenses. Sure it the same name and address the the drive license number and image is not my bother in law's driver license. Since we confirmed this is truly an identity fraud case, I called back State farm and spoke to the same lady again where she again push me off, where she was trying to explain that if State Farm are going to cancel the insurance policy you will get the check of $199 where you shouldn't be getting this check if is a fraud case. She tried to ask her manager for help but since her manager was on the phone the lady just stated that "We are only the sale office and we cannot help you deal with this case. There is nothing we can do, you will have to call State Farm tech support number since this insurance was applied online." and with that she hung up the phone on me. Based on this experience, if you were to ask for a quote or apply for insurance online and get the State Farm office located at 2090 Hyland Blvd, please ask to be connect to another State Farm office or just call State Farm directly. The folks in this office doesn't seem to want to deal with customer (in our case the victim), they are more worry that they will lose out on $199 than the situation and just pass the buck to corporate to deal with. So fair warning, if you get anyone from this office, please consider elsewhere. The wouldn't want to help (like, help you compare the license number they have on file, help you reach out to corporate with you, try to see if they have call the person who stole the identity, email address confirmation, or even offer some compassion in this situation where we the victim doesn't really know what step need to be taken). Again, I have nothing really against Steve Pante, but since there isn't any State Farm office yelp profile and we only have Steve Pante's yelp profile (and being Steve Pante's is on the State Farm letter that my brother in law got), I am posting this review on his yelp profile.

UPDATE: Silvana Raimondo is disgustingly nasty. Again if you have question in regards to your…read moreinsurance they do not feel the need to go over any questions. If they do not have an answer they rely on no resources and STEVE the owner of this shit show stands by and will not intercept in the conversation. This specific location is SCAM they only want the money but hate to do anything further within their job description. Again 1 star and that's just because yelp makes you .
