If, sadly, you are looking for a family lawyer, look no further than the team at Laura Clark,…read moreMcGlynn- Clark Law Offices, in Redding & Red Bluff. I spent the better part of 7 months with a very nice, but highly ineffective lawyer who was reportedly one of the best. Within one week of hiring Laura, my case went from inertia to the fast track for settlement. My case, being just an out of court agreement is small potatoes to a law firm, but has been handled with incredible responsiveness and attention to detail that would characterize multi-million dollar suits. I have several friends and family members who are also attorneys and I can say, unequivocally, that Ms. Clark's knowledge of family law, combined with her candor and integrity, are exceptional. Her entire staff is professional, enjoyable and thorough, and, at a time when your life is falling apart, this is what you need.

Desiree saved my life. Plain and simple…read more I don't even know where to start with the nightmare I was thrust into. I live in San Jose, I was wrongfully accused of a felony crime I didn't commit. I have never committed a crime and presumed it was just a mistake. I obtained a criminal lawyer in San Jose, who manipulated me, neglected to show up to my court dates and worked with the DA behind my back to offer a plea without my consent for a different crime I also didn't commit. I was being forced into admitting fault for a crime I didn't commit. A serious crime that came with mandatory jail time. All while dealing with a newly diagnose family member with terminal cancer, my career and my livelihood was in jeopardy. The impending doom I felt, the level of desperation, was that I have never experienced before. I found Desiree at a time I needed her most. I was introduced to Desiree through a family member who acquired her services for personal injury. When I told her about my situation, she instantly took pitty on me. She recognized that I was becoming victim to our corrupt court system and the lawyer who was supposed to be defending me ***I still live in San Jose and the court appearances were located in Mountain View, Ca (6 hours away from Red Bluff)*** Without hesitation, Desiree offered me her services. She didn't just offer to help me, she went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and did not become a victim to our broke judicial system. Any other lawyer I spoke to either wouldn't help me because I already had a lawyer or tried to empty my bank account for their services. Desiree is exactly what you want in a lawyer. She is very kind, yet straight forward and no nonsense. Desiree is calm and collected, personable but aggressive the way a lawyer should be. Desiree got all my money back from my corrupt first lawyer! She drove 6 hours to my court appearances, contacted the DA for negotiations, and acted with only my best interest in mind. Although I could not get the case dropped ( courts are all about prosecution #'s , the higher the % conviction regardless the crime the more likely DA are to be promoted to judge = what B.S. system!) she was able to prove the crime was never committed and had the felony dropped to 20 hour of community service. Desiree refuses to lose. If you need any legal help, do not hesitate to acquire Desiree as your lawyer. It will be your best decision.
