Staying at Liberty Hall is a unique, lovely experience. Julia and Dudley are warm and welcoming, and they will tailor the experience to your wants and needs. If you are looking for companionship on the wraparound porch, they'll sit with you and chat about anything and everything. If you are looking for personal quiet time to recharge, they'll provide space and rest. The home and property are just gorgeous, and Dud's breakfast is 10/10! read more

Liberty Hall Bed and Breakfast - yard, lake, property - Bed & Breakfast Near Me - Camden, Alabama

We had a GREAT time at Liberty Hall. Your hosts, JuliaAnn and Dudly are wonderful. You WILL feel right at home. (I ate breakfast in my PJs and bare feet - and Julia thought it was wonderful). We were joined by several family members who enjoyed it just as much as we did. Other than Julia and Dudly, you will enjoy Pete the Cat and David the Donkey. We had breakfast twice; and they were excellent! read more

What a charming house and such a peaceful setting. Julia and Dudley were such gracious host. We stayed in the library room. It was so interesting to look through old catalogs magazine and books dating back to the early 1900s. This house has been in Julia's house for 5 generations! Breakfast was great with lots of specialty jellies for the biscuits eggs bacon and some of Dudley's well tended grits. Would definately stay here again and take more time to soak up the property. read more

What a lovely place and couple! We had a wonderful time and enjoyed every second of it all! I even found some fantastic old medical journals in our room that I read all night. The food was wonderful too. I've thought about driving down to just appear one morning or to swipe some of those amazing cheese straws! We can't wait to go back! read more

What a wonderful surprise! A lovingly restored plantation home, with great new en suite bathrooms in many of the rooms. Beautiful grounds---pasture land, forest, a pond--- and wonderful hosts, Julia and Dudley. And of course, Pete the Cat and David the Donkey. Delicious breakfast (made with their own hens' eggs and local fruit). Fun conversations and talk about local lore. I couldn't recommend Liberty Hall highly enough! read more
