Bp Gas Station

I am making sure to review this station because we go out of our way for it, due to the positive experiences. A.) They are open 6am-11pm, which is really helpful because the one nearest us closes earlier. B.) The prices always beat any other BP in the area, and many other competitor gas stations as well. You get quality gas for a decent price here. (Our cars perform very well on their lowest priced gas.) C.) The rewards program always works here. We never have issues with purchases showing up, nor with redeeming rewards, at this station. D.) They ALWAYS take coupons (Kmart gives them out with $50+ purchases). E.) The couple of times we have had to deal with the attendant, he has always been pleasant and gracious. For some reason, the BPs nearer to us ALWAYS have some obnoxious issue going on. The Devon station is temperamental about taking your rewards (hit or miss at your expense), and they won't take the Kmart coupons from the store 0.2 miles away. It is extremely poor business sense. The appeal of the Devon station is location, Dunkin' Donuts and is open all night. They clearly cater to college kids, who can't be bothered with coupons, and go there for late-night snacks. The Newtown Square station closes early, posts the "cash" price on their sign (like a two-bit economy gas station would), and never takes coupons. It is also extremely inconvenient to access from the directing of traffic on 252 and 3, and it is miserable navigating the cramped space to get in and out of pumps or the lawsuit-worthy manhole covers over the tanks. All in all the Lima BP has been really convenient and helpful to us, and we appreciate doing business with them. * NOTE * The physical (on-the-map) address Yelp has is correct, but the official mailing address for this station (on the BP website) is: 2 S Pennell Rd Media, PA 19063-5715

That said, this rant is specific to Wawa corporate 'customer service' (or lack thereof). I contacted 'customer service' 4 times for the same issue. Each time I got nearly identical auto/AI generated responses 'we appreciate your frustration, sorry we fell short'. That's it... The issue is that on or about 4/1/26 Wawa started auto charging a 'bag fee' on all mobile orders that I've made. But I've yet to request OR receive a bag since that time. Months ago I ordered a sandwich with a number of sides, asked for a paper bag I could see behind the counter, but was told 'they are for Door Dash only'. Absurd? YES!! So since then I have taken my own bags, when needed. Four times I wrote to corporate 'customer service', using the 'case number' included from the prior/worthless contact, and got the same generic response. It is INCONCEIVABLE to me how a business can auto charge for a product/service, repeatedly, that IT DOES NOT SUPPLY. As shared, during the 'auto charge' timeframe, I have NEVER asked for a bag and MORE IMPORTANTLY, NEVER been offered once.
