This is the worst dumpster rental company ever. They can't follow instructions as they dropped the dumpster off on the side of my house not in front. They have horrible customer service as they don't answer their phone. Then they want to come back 2 months later and say you're late with fees for the dumpster being over weight. Trash company, trash employees, wouldn't be surprised if none of them graduated high school. read more

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY -SCAM!!!you can find a more affordable dumpster rental elsewhere. This company doesn't tell you about the 6 hidden fees! read more

SCAM!!! I have had the same experience with this company as everybody else has. I was lied to on the initial phone call. I certainly believed my initial charge was my total charge. When I requested the dumpster, I received a few text messages requesting that I sign the "contract" before they could deliver the dumpster. I clicked the link in my text on my phone. This brought me to a signature page with no real link to the contract details. I signed because I thought I was just agreeing to the terms discussed on the phone. After having the dumpster dropped off, I wanted to write a good review because the driver was so cool to me. I then saw all these reviews claiming the company is a scam. I called the company and asked about this horrible reputation and overcharges that everybody has experienced. The lady on the phone only said, see the contract. I was then transferred to customer service where another lady just said angrily, read the contract. I read it, It is a SCAM! read more

The company is a true scam. They never explained the real cost. Paid 310.67 for the dumpster and a week after they took the dumpster they charged my credit card $2350 more. That's horrible them not telling the customer the truth about that additional fee. Do not trust that company. They are not honest and clear when they try to explain that there's no hidden fees. They want your credit card to be able to charge without approval from you and when you ask for the proof of weight they pass the buck and one one is around to assist. I will file a lawsuit against them with my lawyer. Be aware and don't be taken for ride like me. read more

Still getting emails and threats from the company. When will they stop using people, I have hired another company and no other hiding fees and what they said on the phone was true and wasn't force to sign a contract. read more

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!! The website states "No Hidden Fees, everything is spelled out in the rental agreement." That's a lie, they charged me an additional $600, after I already paid them $310.67. So in total, I have paid $900. Please do not rent from this company. That was very foul for the additional charge that was not authorized or discussed. Do not rent from this company. I live in a 2 story home, not a mansion. I did everything right by not dumping any items that were prohibited. However, I was still charged almost $1,000. This is not a good company, nor did they inform me. I asked them verbally to explain to me before renting because this is my first time renting a dumpster and I wanted to be certain. They told me everything was in my agreement but I didn't understand everything that's why I asked and they told me to look at the agreement, which only showed $310.67 at first. Rent at your own risk, but I will certainly encourage you not to do business with this company. This was foul and unethical and I am very upset!!! Actually, I'm livid. Believe me, had I known I would be taken advantage of I would have declined. Currently disputing the charge with my credit card company!!! The website I'm placing a review on wants me to rate my experience in order to submit my review. So I had to give it one star just to submit; however, I give this company NEGATIVE stars. They do not deserve a rating. As expensive as the world is now just to survive this is truly ridiculous and greedy. I would use more words, such as poor choice words but I'm trying to stay professional!!! Forget this company, and that's me using nice words right now but what I'm thinking is the "F" word. These people are ANIMALS and CROOKS!!! They do not deserve our hard working money. Could you imagine paying $1,000 for trash?!! Hell no... They are low down for this!!! Jessica read more

Wish I would have searched for these reviews before hiring them. I wanted to try a new dumpster company for a simple clean out and went with a cheap advertised rate. Turns out they have a TON of extra fees and rules to mark up as much as they can. Shady company not in STL, that just hires out local places and marks everything up. Does not include any weight! That's insane. Call a real local company which gives you some included weight. Will never use again. read more

Basically the same stories. Everyone else these crooks are stealing money just because you have it in the fine print in the contract doesn't mean it's not stealing. I really wish that a lawyer would take this on as a class action lawsuit. Also, when I agreed to it everything's in these little attachments. I was verbally told that it was only going to be the original price. Then they tacked on per pound, Plus not only that the guy came and picked it up right after a massive snowstorm. Of course it weighed more. I sure hope someone takes on this case and goes after them. read more

I was charged initially $600. The company tried to pick up the dumpster early but told me it wasn't full. I explained i hadn't begun my clean out yet. I filled the dumpster to the top. It was picked up and I got a bill for $1200 extra. I was told it was an uneven load which incurred the extra charge. DONT EVER USE THEM OR ANY OF THEIR OTHER NAMES RELATED TO LIBERTY DUMPSTER. Worst company ever. They promised to deliver the dumpster twice and never showed up. I disputed the charge with my credit card.

Horrible experience. As many noted, fees are not explicitly stated. Spend over $750 for 3 days on a job that should have cost half that.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! they tried robbing me 4x the amount I actually should of been billed. "Lucy" and "Joe" who are the "managers" who clearly are not from America are not helpful AT ALL. I was forced to call multiple times to request a verified invoice. my original Invoice was $1600 and the actual amount I owed was $370. I DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!! the "managers" gave me the "owners" email and he just dismissed me and backed his horrible staff. Save yourself and DO NOT USE LIBERTY DUMPSTER RENTAL!!!!!! read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. the absolute only positive, is I didn't have to haul off my debris myself. was quoted $400 for the dumpster and haul off. trying to get someone on the phone after completing the reservation is next to impossible. I was called by a different company stating that Liberty hired them to do provide and haul the dumpster, but stated they don't do it for less that $800 for a 20yd dumpster. my dumpster finally arrived a day late, and was picked up two days late. about a month later, I was charged before even contacting me $1200 for dump fee overage, after my initial payment of $400, and then hounded for an additional $165. I would highly recommend to steer clear of this company as you will be ripped off, and then gaslighted. they truly should be reported to the BBB and contractor board for their practices. read more

Yeah, the Atlanta branch tried to get me but I read the contract and did the quick math, they are hurting anyone who gets suckered by the low price quote. just use someone else. Rented a 30yd dumpster for home cleanup. Delivery time was 6am-12pm, it was delivered around noon. Pickup time was 12pm-6pm, it was picked up at noon. Basically cutting out a day of use. Pricing on the site says nothing about per pound charge in the description of the product, that doesn't show up until you add it to your cart, then it says $.15 per pound fee that the dump charges. When you get the bill you find out that is for the full 2 tons that the dumpster can hold. It is listed in the terms and condition, so unless you read it very carfully, you would miss it. They also aren't timely on email responses, emailed them Monday morning to see if I could extend the rental 2 days, and got no response. If you search for this company, you will find lots of similar complaints. Don't use them. read more

Warning to all North Carolina residents: report Liberty Dumpster Rental / John Rossi to the NC Attorney General for deceptive bait‐and‐switch dumpster practices. They post flat‐rate quotes (e.g., $340), then hit you with undisclosed weight fees--0.15¢/lb with a 2‑ton minimum--forbidding any estimate under $600 in hidden charges. No scale tickets or proof are provided. I was harassed with voicemails threatening a mechanic's lien on my home and told they'd sue for damages up to $5,000 per violation under NC's consumer protection law. They've called me repeatedly since disputing charges. With over 30 similar Salisbury reviews, many from NC victims echoing "bait‑and‑switch" and "harassment," this is a clear pattern of false advertising, hidden fees, intimidation, and potential unlawful debt collection--exactly the type of conduct that the NC AG's office has authority to investigate and penalize under G.S. §75‑1.1 (up to $5,000 per violation). read more

DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!! For one, they are not in St. Louis even though they have a 314 # area code. This is a 3rd party company out of San Diego w/people who do not speak clear English. You are not told that when you call by any means due to you call the 314 # that is on the website. The dumpster was not delivered on the date I requested & was not picked up on the date requested. I had to call to find out where the dumpster was when it was not delivered the day requested, It was 4:50pm CST & the hold info states.."we will be with you in less than one min". Over an hr later I finally hung up. Called the next day to find out they are not in St. Louis, MO they are in San Diego, CA & their 6:00PM closing time is actually EST which is also not stated. The dumpster got delivered, had a completely different name/phone number on it. We were in a rental house, moving to our forever home so I needed this picked up at the correct day due to the landlords demands. It was not, so I tried several times to contact Liberty Dumpster without success so I finally called the number on the dumpster & some guy answered "hello"& was like.."oh...yeah, I forgot. I will be there to get it today." So he did pick it up but then I called for over a month trying to get the "total bill". All the while not knowing they charged my cc already for $266.They finally called & I told them all the problems I had & that the amount they gave me for the "total bill" with the weight, $216 was not acceptable with all the problems. They knocked it down to $173 which I agreed on that being the "total bill". Got the cc days later to see the $266 charge already on my cc. They called for payment, I refused. Told them the issues & I got threatened with collections will ruin your credit. I have over 800 credit score...good luck with that. Point is, do not use them! False advertisement, language barrier, doesn't deliver on date requested or pick up on date requested, unprofessional people & obviously a lot of smoke & mirrors on their "policies". I also will make a complaint with the BBB. read more

This company (if you can call it that) is a group of liars and thieves. Much like a previous review. I rented a 20 yard dumpster. It arrived on a Friday and was picked up on Monday. Initial fee was $215, after extra fees the drop off cost $311. However, 10 days after pick up I received an email with a charge of $396, with two invoices attached. Neither of the attachments was an invoice with the weight and charges. They sent the initial rental agreement twice . I called the office and talked with billing, she initially told me that my dumpster had 560 lbs in it. I replied well that makes sense for the final billing of $396. I told her that I had already paid $311 for drop off so I should only be getting charged for $85. That's when her story changed and then the weight increased to 2,000 lbs. I replied that's impossible it was a 20 yard dumpster that was 1/4 full with carpet and padding from 1 room and a bathroom sink as well as a few other small household items. After going back and forth, I told her that I would like to speak to a supervisor and she hung up. I have email several times asking for an actual invoice or phone call. No reply. So in short (too late) I paid $705 for 560 lbs. This company should not be allowed to exist. read more

I have email proof of being told 15 cents a lb plus the base price of the dumpster only and they knew it was for cardboard only yet chose to not mention the 2,000 lb minimum charge until after we signed a contract! The total ended up being double the price. DO NOT USE read more
