Jeff and his team are thorough, detail oriented, and communicate every step of the project. The best part is the quality of the repair...truly my house exterior is like new again! As a landlord living out of town, knowing from a distance that the repair will be done right is peace of mind! I have had my roof and gutters totaled twice, I also had garage door, siding, paint, deck, A/C condenser and other miscellaneous damage...they repaired every little thing and recommended small upgrades or changes that would help if this ever happened again. At the final walk through to check all the repairs Jeff is clearly proud of the work done, pays attention to every little detail, and will ensure you are satisfied with every aspect. Jeff and his team…read morewere pleasant to deal with, and seemed to honestly want to work hard, especially given pushback from insurance. However - their progress was slow, above and beyond the insurance issues. I would have to poke and prod them to follow up. Even then, I stuck with them, even if it took until June 2026 for them to actually schedule the work on the roof. They took the downpayment for supplies and then.... NOTHING. After a few weeks, with NO call, text or email, a team delivered the materials but despite 6 separate contact attempts (two texts, two emails, two phone calls) I heard nothing for over a month. I'm now stuck with repairs delayed by six months, rainy weather, having to find a NEW roofer who will have to redo the arguments with insurance, and having to require my funds and get their materials off my property. Honestly, I'm expecting I'll need a lawyer before long. I'm giving them two stars despite my frustrations because I suspect they've had something or someone collapse internally. So, as I said in my last contact attempt, they have my sympathy, but NOT my understanding.

Letter of Recommendation for O'Leary Construction…read more I am pleased to provide this letter of recommendation for O'Leary Construction based on the exceptional work they recently completed on my heavy timber pitched roof patio cover project. Before selecting a contractor, I conducted extensive research and obtained eight separate bids, including proposals from several large and well-known decking and patio construction firms in the Denver metropolitan area. After carefully evaluating pricing, scope, and qualifications, O'Leary Construction stood out as the clear choice. They provided the most competitive and fair pricing while demonstrating a thorough understanding of the project and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. From the beginning of the project through final completion, the O'Leary team was professional, reliable, and attentive to detail. Their workmanship was outstanding, and the quality of the finished structure exceeded my expectations. The heavy timber construction required precision and skill, and the finished patio cover reflects a high level of craftsmanship that is evident in every aspect of the project. What impressed me most was their dedication to doing the job right. They paid close attention to details, maintained excellent communication throughout the project, and consistently demonstrated pride in their work. The result is a beautiful, well-built patio cover that has enhanced both the appearance and value of my home. I would not hesitate to recommend O'Leary Construction to anyone considering a patio cover, deck, outdoor living space, or similar construction project. They deliver excellent value, fair pricing, superior workmanship, and a finished product that reflects their commitment to quality. Thank you, O'Leary Construction, for a job exceptionally well done. Sincerely, David Tyree, P.E., C.B.O.

Through Rafael, Jenni, and Simon, along with the help of a great Public Adjuster (Compass…read moreAdjusting), my wife and I truly got the most done on our home with the least amount of stress. The work was performed as scheduled and to our expected quality (that, coming from a finicky engineer). There were no surprises at all. I cannot express our gratitude for RC Construction. We are thrilled with our house remodel! Our home suffered hail damage to the roof, windows, doors, decking, and stucco. We filed a claim with our insurance company. The insurance company only offered to replace some windows. Like most people, my wife and I did not know what our insurance contract actually covers and how to deal with insurance companies. Rafael knows this well, studies it, has personal consultants, has years of experience dealing with insurance companies and has a good relationship with Mark at Compass Adjusting. Together, they explained the policy and expectations. One phone call and one meeting later and we had committed with one rule: RC will only repair what is agreed to with the insurance company; we want zero out-of-pocket expenses. Keeping in mind the insurance company tried to get away with replacing only a few windows, the final project (ALL covered by insurance!) included flat roof repairs, roof drainage/gutter repairs, 22 new windows, 2 new doors, all new stucco, deck repairs, interior wall repairs, and complete interior paint. RC Construction and Compass Adjusting managed the insurance company so we never had to make even a phone call to the insurance company. We just sat back and let them do their thing! Referring to a previous review: Keep in mind, most contractors use sub contractors. Some of them also use their own subcontractors. RC has a great team of subs - most of them know each other through their church. All were in our house daily for 6 months and we had no issues with any of them. They were all great people! Still, it's up to us as home-owners to know what we're committing to, set agreed-to expectations and we shouldn't be writing reviews before the work is done. Part of that work includes a walk-through and (usually) final touch-ups. It has now been 3 months since our remodel was finished. The only thing we had to call them back on was that we found the window manufacturer had 2 wrong handles on the windows. One right-opening had a left handle on it and one left-opening had a right handle on it. No biggie - their window sub came out and switched them. We are very, very happy with the work done by RC Home Improvements!!!
