Just had a haircut from a delightful young lady named Tori. She says She will also answer to Victoria but dont try calling her Vicky if you want to stay friends. She did a great job and was fun to hang out with. When she held up the mirror to show me the back of my head I saw this huge bald spot and panicked untill I realized I've had it for 10 years but I'm too short to have noticed it and I usually dont walk behind myself. Today I went to Great Clips and got a great haircut there and didn't have to listen to all the far right political comments from the owner at Liberty Barbers, when I commented to the manager the last time I was there for a haircut that I was tired of him saying how great Trump was and that I just wanted a haircut, he told me to "rot in hell ". Don't go there unless you're into hearing how great trump is and how messed up the Democratic Party is. read more

I have been coming to Liberty for a couple of years. I have to agree with another posting that the customer service is pretty bad. There is no warmth or freindliness from especially the dark haired woman who works there. But honestly no one talks with you except for the one younger girl there. Beer is never offered and the price of a haircut is not that reasonable. The final last straw was yesterday when I checked the website and it said they were open. I traveled aross town to get my haircut only to find a piece of paper taped to the door saying they were closed. That was it. Never again. I went to another barber shop that was closer to me and had a great haircut with great conversation at a great price. Sorry Liberty. You gotta make your customers feel appreciated. read more

I don't understand most of the comments on the reviews. We don't go to a barbershop for warmth and friendliness. My husband and son go for good barber style haircuts. I'd give it 5 stars but there is only one stylist I trust and that's Leslie. She does an excellent job. If they would get some more talent, I'd give it 5 stars. read more

This place has such great vision. It is such a great idea. Alas! it is ruined by the lackluster service and a failure to deliver on promises. Here's the thing: this barber shop advertises that after 12pm if you are over 21 years of age you get a free Sam Adams while you wait. They also have a walk-in humidor and a few TVs that play ESPN. Sounds great, right? Well, read on and decide for yourself. I've met the owner before and he seems like a pretty good guy. Friendly, ex-trooper, excited about his new business, very knowledgeable, etc. HOWEVER, the woman who actually cut my hair was terrible. When I first walked in she was the only person in sight, but instead of acknowledging me, she continued to talk on her cell phone. Terrible. During the haircut she was not personable, very cold and did not even face me towards the mirrors so I could see the haircut I was getting. It seemed like she was rushing to get me out and I don't think the haircut I got was quality at all. Not only was I not facing the mirrors, but I wasn't facing the TVs either, so I was just staring at the curtain that separates the back of the shop from the front. Very INTERESTING. One last gripe that I hesitate to mention for reasons I will explain: I have been to Liberty Barbers three times (every time after 12pm) and not once have they offered me this complimentary Sam Adams that is such a part of the advertising. I should admit here that I've never actually asked for the Sam Adams either, but come on; it's a barber shop and I don't want to seem desperate. I think they should at least ask their patrons if they're interested. Anyway, I guess if you just want a quick in and out haircut place then you might not mind this place, but for me this place just disappointed on too many levels. read more

Been here twice so far, I feel at home here because it is set up with a lot in common decor as I have in my man cave. The hair cut is top notch and after all it's what Im here for. Good selection of cigars for the area. Lounge fee of $7 waived if you buy two cigars. Cutter and lighters available in the lounge. Would like to see more lounge space with a tv or two and less vape shop. That's a going away fad anyway. No beer with lounge only the haircut. Fair enough. Maybe a beer if you buy $40 in cigars? Best barber shop I've ever been to! Quick service, friendy employees, free beer on tap while you wait/ get cut. Massage therapy, ear candling, walk in cigar humidor, HD TV's at every station. Great haircuts, even hot shaves with straight razors. They have loyalty punch cards and offer military/police/fire/EMT discounts. The owner is a retired state trooper. Have been going here for haircuts, 4 or 5 years now. I am done. My last visit, received a warm welcome form the owner, who said someone would be with me shortly. He then sat down in the first chair that opened up and had his haircut, while I waited. I should have walked out then, but didn't. Another 10 minutes and I was in a chair, gal did a nice job and I left. Sent a letter via snail mail - signed my name - no effort has been made to contact me so my thoughts are the owner does not care. This is the worst barber shop I have ever been to. It's advertised as the perfect place for men but it's nothing more than a glorified salon, bitchy hair dresser included. My wife gave me a gift certificate the first time I went. I ended up waiting forever, didn't get the free beer, and was basically ignored by the blond hair dresser. She even managed to butcher my goatee. Like an idiot I decided to go back for another try a couple of months later. I arrived more than a half hour before closing and asked if I could get a shave and a haircut. To this, the blond hair dresser made a very audible groan of discontent, as if I asked her to do more than her job. This place has a great concept but the WORST customer service and staff imaginable.
