They claim the called ans left message but I had no missed calls the day before when they told me they had called. They also said they texted me. Again no text on my phone. No apologies just that they will have to reschedule and they are booking months out. The reason I was given for the last minute cancelation was that a hygienist I was going to re retired. Find it hard to believe someone retired the day before and nobody knew about it in advanced.​

The support staff is friendly and helpful, the hygienists and dentists have always been great, and I've no complaints. Dr. Barrett is tops. When I broke a tooth recently, she squeezed me in the same morning I called. She administered local anesthesia with no pain and put in a crown quickly with no fuss. The bite is perfect. She explained the treatment options thoroughly and she took care that I was comfortable at all times. I highly recommend her.

He came in today to have full mouth extractions , they decided to refuse Him because He wanted to be sedated and they don't sedate. He has also had a abscess tooth infection but Brandy said it wasn't acute. I've talked to several People who asked if they did blood work , I said no. They said she cannot determine the the severity without exrays and blood work. I didn't go in as I should of , it was said He tried to manipulate staff by wanting to be sedated. He wasn't combative just obviously mentally confused. Now they don't want to deal with Him unless He has a full consult and refuse to give Him antibiotics for infection. Something isn't right with this and I'm thinking mayby its a blessing in disguise. By contrast, this office was the opposite, and put me at ease simply by being extremely professional, cheerful, polite, and very skilled and competent. The dentist is fast, cheerful, relaxed, but the thing that was most noteworthy when I got a few fillings done was that I had literally no pain during or after and I'm a complete wuss when it comes to dental pain. So we went ahead and did it and big shock, North East Delta Dental my insurance provider does not cover procedures at 100% done by this practice (maybe 20-30% coverage at most). They are not in network for them. Surprize, we got a $907 bill. They also performed a LPDQ - Laser Pocket Disinfection by Quad procedure, that is almost $100 for ach quad. Please do yourself a favor and save your money. It is no better than the traditional scaleing. In short, if you are a State of Maine employee please do not go here. The closest periodontist that is in network is near Portland, ME. Nothing in Bangor / Brewer. They also scheduled two sessions for initial comprehensive evaluation (on 03/26/2015) and then another for an X-Ray (on 04/14/2015) and charged my insurance twice, which my did not cover in full. I also had to waste almost half a day away from work. Why not do everything in one go? I had to write a bunch of emails back and forth to get the charges reversed. In short, there are better practices in Bangor or even in Portland, stay away from this place. OK done venting now. Thank you for reading my review.
