I emailed Stav from Parapluie and within 10 minutes she responded back! Great customer service. I was really bummed to hear, however, that Stav herself is getting married abroad just a few days before my wedding and won't be available to film my special day! Stav's work is absolutely incredible - I cried when I saw my friend's video. I wish she was available - but after filming all of those wedding videos I guess she can have time off to get married herself :-) I will definitely recommend Parapluie Films to friends. It's a really unique find in a world where all wedding videos look exactly the same!

She was a brilliant videographer - you never knew she was there, but she capture all the important moments. I just received my teaser reel and was blown away. The lighting and filters on the film are beautiful and the way she captures the details and emotion is priceless. The editing is fantastic and really evokes the energy of the day. I can't wait to see the long version when it arrives! I know I made the right decision hiring Stav and the Parapluie team for our wedding! Graham (Final Frame) was the perfect fit! He is very professional and readily available for any questions, etc. He has a quicker turnaround for the video which is a bonus, and I really liked that his presence was very subtle (doesn't feel like you're on a movie set with a ton of bulky equipment). He edited a wonderful video (documentary edit), and I feel like I really get to relive the wedding day, and I love that I get to re-watch all the speeches/special moments of us with our friends and family. One of my favorite parts is that he will interview the guests (optional) and you get to hear and see family/friends video messages. It was awesome and really special. I'd highly recommend Graham! Graham is very responsive and easy to work with. The day of our June 2021 wedding, Graham showed up on time and got right to work. You hardly even know he's there, which is exactly what we wanted from a videographer. He films "documentary style" and gets all the parts of the day that are such a blur to the bride and groom. My favorite thing about his style is the interviews he does with the bride and groom separately and the interviews he does with guests. It's such a nice touch that makes watching the video even more special. Graham is so affordable given the INCREDIBLE work that he does. I can't believe some people don't get a videographer for their wedding as it was such a special experience to rewatch our day through the eyes of our guests. My sister used Graham a few years ago, and I will be recommending Graham to every future bride and groom. His work is stunning, he doesn't interfere or get in the way, and he adds special touches that make the video even more fun to watch. Thank you so much Graham!!

I work for a national nonprofit whose mission can sometimes be complicated to describe, even to new staff. So we hired JJ to help us put together a video talking about our mission for internal staff training purposes. It necessitated a ton of interviews with all kinds of different staff members in varied locations, and JJ was a total pro at setting up the right shots, getting the sound right, and setting our staff (most of whom were appearing on camera for the first time) right at ease. The video turned out so well that we actually ended up using it externally as well, and that's a big testament to how engaging JJ was able to make it. More recently, we hired JJ to shoot a series of 4 different social media-length videos for us to use as Facebook and Instagram ads. He demonstrated a great understanding of what would play best on social media, and even helped us come up with the concepts for each video. He was also able to help us with casting talent, story boarding, and finding a director, all while staying within our nonprofit budget. All 4 of the videos turned out great and have been big hits both within my organization and on social media. I recommend JJ and Techboogie highly for any kind of video project you're working on.

First, a little background story: My wife and I got married at beautiful Kauai, HI in August 2016…read more We hired a photographer/videographer who showed promise via their new website, and we thought we had a good deal working with one company for both video and photo combo- we were dead wrong, and received a video that TOTALLY missed our expectations. It didn't have ANY of our vows, officiant's speech, reception speeches, or any candid shots of the beautiful setting, scenes or key objects that were part of the wedding. We basically received a 5 minute music video which barely brushed through everything that happened that day. It lacked substance, it lacked a story. While we took the necessary steps to make sure the original photographer/videographer were held accountable, at the end of it all the wedding was done, what was captured was done- and we were devastated beyond belief. One year later, right before our 1 year anniversary, I decided to see what we could do to re-edit the video- I searched on Yelp and found Gusto. He was willing to sift through ALL of the raw footage that we were able to salvage from the horrible works of the original videographer, and with his amazing editing skills he was able to magically produce something that we are not embarrassed to show to our family and friends. Gusto was very clear in his communication, expectations, pricing options, and was open & flexible to work closely with me on details regarding certain scenes and music I wanted to include. He checked in with me regularly. He reassured me that he would try his best, and and the end he did not disappoint! My wife and I are SO thankful to have found Gusto, and highly recommend him to document (or re-edit) your wedding!!

Let me rewind and start from the beginning. I was referred to a handful of videographers prior to our wedding. When I came across his work, I was immediately drawn in. He gave us good direction throughout the day, interacted well with our guests, worked seamlessly with our photographer, and even stuck around a bit longer in the evening to get everything he needed. After that, we hadn't heard from Duy in a little while. Little did we know he was whipping up magic. My final thoughts after seeing his work is that Duy is extremely meticulous and provides a very complete and polished product.
