What bothered me most wasn't even the price. It was the lack of communication, the way the situation was handled, and the unprofessional attitude I received when I spoke up about my hair. Before the service, I was told that the ends of my hair might not lift enough to match my inspiration picture. I understood that, signed the waiver, and was completely fine with coming back in a couple of months to go lighter. My concern was never that my hair wouldn't be exactly like the picture. My concern was leaving with uneven, patchy color that looked like I had done it myself at home. Toward the end of the appointment, instead of explaining what was happening with my roots or discussing possible solutions, the stylist seemed more focused on rushing through the styling process. I had to get up, look at my own hair, and ask what had happened at the top and what could be done to fix it. That was when I was met with, "Well, I told you what was going to happen," in a tone that felt dismissive and unprofessional. I was never told that my roots would turn out patchy. I was specifically told that the bottoms might not lift, and the ends actually turned out fine. Those are two completely different concerns. Even if the results weren't going to be perfect, I believe I should have been informed about the uneven color and given the opportunity to discuss my options before the appointment was finished. The price was never the issue. If I'm paying hundreds of dollars and spending five hours in a salon, I expect honest communication, professionalism, and a stylist who cares enough to discuss the results with me instead of making me feel like I'm wrong for asking questions. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. The way I was spoken to made the situation even worse, and I left feeling like my concerns were being brushed off rather than taken seriously. I would not consider this experience worth the money, and based on how this situation was handled, I would not recommend this salon to others. Manager needs to take a serious look at how clients are treated and fix that nasty attitude and talk to her paying customers right

Yes i would rather leave with orange roots and have hair on my head. Then to blend everything, the stylist made my ends grey/purple ash blonde. It ruined my old blonde that I came in with. Not to take charge, but I did ask her as I watch the toner darken my ends into like a purple undertone, if she was sure it wouldn't soak the purple. They constantly preach professionalism, yet they are the first to act unprofessional, whether it's through poor communication, favoritism, or simply not respecting students' time and concerns. On top of that, the curriculum feels rushed, and students are often left to teach themselves. Questions are met with vague answers, and constructive feedback is nearly nonexistent. Instead of preparing students for success in the beauty industry, they seem more interested in pushing them through the program as quickly as possible while ignoring the real skills and experience needed. I was happy with the work and continued to come. But recently, I had an appointment, which I book in advance at the end of my each appointment. I drive 30 minutes from Brownsville to get here. I arrived and the place was locked. I sent a dm, a text, a phone call and left a message. I received no response. I waited for 25 minutes and then drove 30 minutes back home. So it ended up being a waste of 1 hr 25 minutes of my time. I received no response, definitely no reason for the "no show" , no attempt at rescheduling a new appointment. I was out of town for 2 weeks and when I got back I again attempted to get an appointment but received no response. I left it at, she's probably still out. I received no apology, I needed no apology but an attempt of rescheduling would have been nice. I waited an additional period of time and again attempted to get an appointment. This time around, she did acknowledge my attempt and gave me an appointment for the following week. The day of my appointment, I started my drive and about 15 minutes in, she text me that she had to cancel. It's 2 days later, I have been waiting for a reschedule if my appointment and I've gotten nothing. Again, I don't need an apology but a total disregard for my time and effort to be a loyal customer is so disrespectful. Needless to say, I will no longer be a customer of this establishment. I can no longer recommend it. If you value your time, please stay away from here.
