She walked around the store without a leash and started to relax due to the inviting atmosphere. They called me later to pick her up and she was very happy and relaxed and beautiful! Had been a client here for 3 years. Initially, the service was good. Last 5-6 visits, the quality…read moreof service here had seriously declined. Most recently, Amanda...Owner completely "Scalped" my poor 16 month old dog. I have attached a picture. My Dog suffered: razor burns, contusion & 2 trips to the Vet. I spoke to Tim/Owner, and he denied everything, of course. Rather than take responsibility for their horrific work, and harm to my dog, he was super nasty to me. Their complete lack of maturity and customer service was very shocking to me, and it cost over $200 in Vet Bills + the cost of grooming. I tried to resolve this serious experience with both Owners ... to no avail.

Her English was not very good, so I was apprehensive if she understood my directions for grooming my dog. My dog is a unique breed that is to be trimmed a certain way. I asked her if she had ever groomed this breed and she said yes. I told her specifically to not cut my dog's eyebrows, but she did. She also shaved her too close on her head and ears, causing several nicks and unevenness. The groomer did not even trim her tail at all! Needless to say, I doubt I will be taking my dog there again.

5 stars -- absolutely exceptional care…read more After an extremely frustrating experience with another veterinary office earlier this week, we brought our husky, Kozmo, to Saunders Veterinary Services because his surgical incision was draining blood and fluid along with knot by his incision. The difference in care was immediate. They were able to see him within an hour of us calling and took him right back. The front desk staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely pleasant to deal with. They were fully staffed, organized, and at no point did we feel like we were inconveniencing anyone by being there. The veterinarian was incredible. She was patient and compassionate and actually got down on the floor with Kozmo to examine him where he was comfortable. She thoroughly evaluated his incision, ran bloodwork, answered our questions, and confirmed that he had developed an infection. She made sure we left with antibiotics, appropriate pain management, medication to help keep him calm while he heals, and--just as importantly--clear information about what was happening and how to care for him. After the experience we'd had earlier in the week, I cannot adequately explain how much we appreciated simply being listened to and having our concerns taken seriously. This is what veterinary medicine and customer service should look like. They didn't just treat Kozmo's infection; they treated him with patience and kindness and treated us with respect. We came in worried about our dog and left feeling like he was finally in good hands. I would absolutely recommend Saunders Veterinary Services. They earned every one of these five stars.

I have to say that I was a little sad about leaving my dog in a kennel. I visited the Pet Hotel…read morewhich is a little off the road but worth looking, and was pleasantly surprised at the seemingly brand new and spotless facility. I left her one day for daycare just to see how she would do before I had to leave her for an extended stay. When we went for the extended stay she was excited to be there just driving up. when it was time to leave she was happy to see me but was not so traumatized that she went on as normal. I was really happy to see this. The staff is nothing but friendly helpful and accomodating. Will feed on your schedule ( I portioned and labeled in zip lock bags to make it easy.) I beleive the pricing is very fair. I like that they do not let all of the dogs into one play area. My dog loves to play with others but sometimes does not recognize when someone else does not want to play until she gets a face off. Not her fault and I watche her when we are out. I do however spring for the playroom each day for her. I know she cannot wait until I go away again.

Thanks to Just Like Home Pet Hotel for not taking care of my dog while we were gone! When I dropped…read morehim off there on the 24th, he was fine! No marks or anything. We were gone for a whole two & a half days. When I picked him up on the 26th, his face was covered in scratches & cuts! Keep in mind he has stayed at the hotel before & we had no problems. They had no answers for me when we asked what happened to our dogs face! The most they could say was "he may have been sticking his nose through the fence." Okay so why didn't you fix the problem? Why didn't you call me when you noticed his face was messed up? But besides the point, I left my dog with them to be cared for & safe. When I picked him up he should have looked the same as when I left him. When they noticed these marks popping up on his face, the least they could have done was given me a phone call to notify me of this situation! I received nothing so excuse me for being completely shocked when I picked him up & he looked like this. I took him there, trusting these people to make sure he was taken care of! I signed papers stating that i would pay bills up to $2,000 if he needed medical attention that they could take him to a vet, with the okay for the vet to do what he needed to. He should have been taken to a vet when they noticed it getting worse. But instead they left him like this. So when I picked him up & noticed it was getting worse, I took him to the vet. They had to shave one of the spots on the top of his head. He's now being treated for hot spots. He needed to go to the vet while they had him. if they would've taken him when they noticed this, it wouldn't be as bad as it is. The problem could probably be solved by now! I'm furious on why they didn't care for my dog like they should have. & some people may think i'm overreacting but my dog is like my kid. If you took your kid to daycare & he was fine but picked him up looking like this, chances are you wouldn't take him back there & you'd be furious too. So the next time my dog needs to be at a doggy daycare, he will be at an actual vets office. I would strongly suggest this for anyone else that has to put their pets in daycares that way you know they'll be in great hands to be cared for. Thanks for nothing Just Like Home Pet Hotel! This wouldn't have happened if he would've been somewhere like home.
