I called two other appliance repair places and they both said Friday was the soonest they could get over. Then I called Register and they said Tuesday and I said, "Bring it!" An hour later they called back and said we can come in an hour. WooHoo! Dave arrived on time and with several alerts both from the company and from Dave that he was on his way. Alas, the fridge needed a part that had to be ordered and it would be Wednesday between 12:30-5:00 before they'd have it and could get back. Dave arrived on Wednesday at noon (with alerts beforehand, as before). Was not cheap, but was entirely reasonable and way less than a new fridge. So again, highly recommended!

Kitchen flooded. A total disaster. An hour on the phone with Samsung and they couldn't offer me any solutions, nor could they provide me with a Samsung certified repair person - closest one is Rochester. I called Mr. Appliance. Skylar came the next day; he knew immediately how to diagnose and correct an awful Samsung design flaw. The part is on order, and he'll be back to install it. Service was terrific. I was warned that I would pay a service fee if he couldn't fix the issue - totally fair. But fortunately, this service company knows their stuff. Could not be happier. In 2003 I bought my complete set of kitchen appliances from SouthTowns Appliance at this location…read moreand they would have gotten 5 starts if I were writing Yelp reviews back then. Today, the parts, service and repair people who were in the back have expanded to the entire facility and are keeping up the tradition of excellence. My 19-year-old dishwasher finally wore out. Me, being "thrifty" aka "cheap" priced a new one at Best Buy, Lowes and Home Depot before heading here. Each of them had a model to fit my requirements (24 inch stainless steel front and tub) on sale. None had the one I wanted on display or in stock. I would have to order and wait. Only Lowes had someone in the store who knew how to find a dishwasher in their system without getting help. The appliance department in Best Buy looks like someone went through and shoved everything into a pile. I saved the best store till last. The dishwasher I wanted was on display in the front of the store. The knowledgeable salesperson knew the price and answered my questions. Within a minute I knew the price here was better than any of the big box prices. I ordered my dishwasher on the spot. It was in stock, delivered, and installed at the date and time promised. Bravo!
